    Another out of memory error, this time at Crewe, right at the end of the service when waiting for the final objective to be met. 1F11. Xbox series x.

    I recently bought WCML Crewe - Milton Keynes and am enjoying it. It is a well produced route with realistic scenery and I like the express services with a reasonable distance between stops. However I am having issues with the first scenario I tried and a timetable service. Here is my feedback:


    PC Steam
    Scenario: Rugby Transfer
    Issue: After I leave the Class 807 and move to the Class 350/4 the brakes on the 350/4 are locked and cannot be released no matter what I try so I can't move the 350/4. The scenario instructs (re the 807) another driver will take this service on so go and find your train. I didn't shut dowmn the 807 cab as a result of this wording.

    PC Steam
    Timetable: 1A16 9:21 Liverpool Lime Street to London Euston (Class 807)
    Issue: I arrive at a red signal 938 yards short of Milton Keynes Station and it just stays red. The signaller says I can't pass it. On the map I see that AI Service 1B31.AI.1 is stuck at a red signal. I ended up deleting that service and I completed the timetable service but it looked like most signals at Milton Keynes were red and there were a number of AI services held up.

    There seems to be something strange with the signalling on this route. I've had a yellow followed by a green on the HUD and green/yellow/yellow/red which all turn to green when I pass the first green signal. I've given up braking unless I actually get a yellow.

    Service crashed to desktop,6 miles out from Crewe.
    Ryzen 3600,2070 super,32gb ram.Install on SSD on its own.

    I absolutely agree, it's fantastic, but having to go back through the main menu is immersion killing.

    for me, it wasn't really. it took no time at all and I sort of just did it. Yeah, it could be improved and I would love to see it improved.

    I have a simple question.
    The route is Trent Valley - Milton Keynes.
    I am playing in Timetable Mode on PC (Steam).
    The service I drove was train 1U44 from Crewe to Milton Keynes.
    The consist was 12 cars.
    However, when I select the same train on the WCMLS route under the same conditions, the consist is reduced to 8 cars.
    I could understand a train gaining cars as it heads toward a major city, but...
    Does this kind of operation actually exist in reality?
    If you live in the UK or are knowledgeable about this, please let me know.

    In TSW6, since the timetable was updated,
    I’ve noticed something odd regarding the Class 350.
    I feel like it should be possible to play with 4-car, 8-car, and 12-car formations.

    It might not answer your question exactly but I was recently on an 8 carriage train but only 4 carriages were in use! It was a really busy service and lots of people were standing. I think they let the four additional cars be used from Birmingham or Bristol. Didn’t make any sense to me at all.

    I’ve noticed discrepancies regarding the number of cars in train formations.
    It feels as though London has shrunk into a small town;
    I suspect there is a bug in the train operations for both TVL and WCMLS.

    Can you actually tell the difference between the normal and reduced timetables. As in the amount of ai traffic. Thanks

    I now suspect the erroneous AWS warning horn on the Down Fast at Lichfield TV is for the upcoming Fast to Slow line crossover north of the station. This should be suppressed unless the train is signalled to cross to the slow line.

    Anyone done job 9K35 in the 807. Its really strange the way they have done it.

    Its a job to rugby from mk. Get to the station and the job should end but they have mapped so you pull away from station. Drive another 0.7 miles. Then the job just ends while you are moving.

    Interesting. That's how MSTS and I'm sure TSC too sometimes did it, or would start you off in the train moving towards the first station. A couple of the MSTS North Wales Coast V2 like that, about a mile outside Chester.

    Just bought on PS5, nice extensive route. Done a Milton Keynes to Crewe 390 (not reduced timetable), but no freights passing me which was a shame, other than a 66 in Crewe yard and the 37 parked up.

    Hopefully the 70 will add a bit more. Not sure if I need to buy any extra DLC.

    I thought I would try a run around 1645 off Milton Keynes because thats bound to be busy right?

    Nope.

    Question regarding neutral sections. I know im supposed to put the power handle into 0/neutral before passing the sign that indicates a neutral section. But every time I pass a neutral section the light comes on saying my safety systems are isolated and I have to manually reset the tpws/aws switch to fix this. Is this a bug or am i doing something wrong?

    To be honest I don't think my PS5 would handle it any busier, it already stutters when another train passes.

    Stafford sees garston, hindlow, London gateway and Trafford park traffic all between 6am and 7am today. Id definitely like to see an update that ups the freight traffic if not passenger AI.

    Freight really diversifies the route and it would be good to get more effort on that. I did purchase the cargo line aggregates for my Watford freights but I don't really see that much anymore.

    Anyone else think the scoring is way off some jobs you loads of points and others you get hardly anything.

    Yes previously mentioned the skewed AP. Most runs are giving in excess of 25k which is even more disproportionate than the Bakerloo Line. Compare that to a full run on Shap where you might get 7K or 8K maximum. IMHO DTG need to completely scrap the current AP system and bring in something that is more equal across all the routes. And you again have to ask, how the mega AP on Trent Valley wasn’t picked up by all these expert and devoted beta and QA testers.

    Service 1A12 spawns in different location each time you load it but never in the train.

    both Nuneaton to mk

    near perfect drive yield 13000 xp approx. Platinum requires 19700. There is no way to achieve this total.
    Btw. Ps5 both my posts so far.

    same issue with platinum points not being achievable on the drive.

    also spawns in random location not the train.

    Weedon speed limit of 100 is not registering with the 807 and I am getting the ex-voyager EPS speeds going on the up fast through rugby

    Till now I am really enjoying the route so far. One thing I would like to see improved is the AI traffic and timetable density in some areas, as a few sections can feel quieter than expected for the WCML. Overall though its a solid route with a lot of potential once a few small issues are polished.

    Points for the route don’t particularly bother me but they should be achievable. The penalty for speeding should reflect real life… meeting without coffee, written warning etc in a points value. There are some parameters I’ve never had a score on.. ie cab setup to name but one. Is there an IRL driver that can give the heads up on overspeeds and how they’re dealt with?

    Does the 807 not stop at any stations in between crewe and Milton Keynes.
