Route West Coast Main Line: London Euston - Milton Keynes - Feedback

585 days and counting since this route came out and whilst i’ve driven it substantially more than any other tsw route, it’s still full of small issues

• passengers on the track at harrow and wealdstone
• audio popping on the 390
• rain falling inside the corner of the windscreen on the 390
• no passengers at euston
• blurry textures, obviously
• the default timetable still doesn’t feel full
• crashing
• the default 350 hasn’t been updated to the same standard as the AABS version

 

It’s quite a good route , but it could be great if they could just fix some of these issues . No passengers at Euston, is particularly annoying!

 

At Leighton buzzard still this bug not fixed

Near Milton Keynes Central this thing flying above tracks.

 

The object in the photo is disgusting.

- Euston is still empty of passengers.

- Milton Keynes station gives me the creeps with passengers trapped on the platform.

- Are there 12-car 350 series trains?

 

TBH I’m really not that bothered by the passengers or lack of. Nobody I know has 100 brothers or sisters and they double as AI train drivers as well.

 

Route 1R28.. grrrrrrrrr

Multiple faults, which is part of the game.. but the game crashed as I entered the platform at Euston

PS5. That’s the second crash in the last few days :-(

 

Completed 1R28.. had a panto fault about 2 miles from Watford…wanted to make Watford and reset the panto there.. completely misjudged the approach and came in way too fast needing an emergency stop.. really annoying.. along with a couple of overspeeds.. grrr..
No crash on entry to Euston this time.

Gotta do it again because of the screw ups.

 

Ps5 crash into Euston using 807 on clear weather. Due in 10:03 platform 5 on service from Liverpool

 

If Euston has passengers, it feels like the start of a long journey.

 

On ps5 on the 2025 timetable full.
The service 13:54 1Y34 Ai 8 car 350 service is on platform 13 with half of the train outside of platform instead of being in fully along side it.

 

And where is the sign so I can transfer between routes at Milton Keynes?

The passengers at the station in the photo are fixed in place, with three floating.

 

I spawned at Harrow Wealdstone and same thing happened to me
+He crossed the tracks and went to the other side; you can see him at the back

 

I played the PC (Steam) version.
These three characters are permanently fixed in the party. A bug occurred following the June 17th update; please fix it.

 

I am unable to send the ticket successfully.
DTG, please fix this.

 

Did passengers start appearing at Euston Station with the June 17th update?

 

I have briefly seen a few but they quickly disappear! For me the lack of passengers at Euston is the most annoying bug of the route , which dtg never fix!

 

After the June 17th update (PC/Steam version):
I confirmed the in-train announcements for the Class 350/3 on the 1U46 service from Milton Keynes to Euston.
It would be appreciated if DTG provided more detailed information regarding the changes.
・Bugs present since launch that remain unfixed: objects floating in mid-air.
・The three people floating in a fixed position mentioned in a previous post in this thread (it's quite unpleasant).

 

Afterward, I tried out a few variations of the Class 350 in Timetable Mode. However, the in-train announcements did not play.

If anyone knows the answer, please let me know.

 

I’m happy to see after the latest patch , there are now passengers at Euston amazing, after so long without them! Thank you DTG I had pretty much lost hope that they would return!

 

Yes, Euston Station has improved.

It’s a shame about the bug introduced in the recent update, though—I really hope they fix those three characters who are stuck in a fixed pose at the station...

The 1S37 London to Glasgow 390 on the Evero 2025 timetable takes the slow line out of Euston all the way to Milton Keynes. Please look into this. Thanks

 

What time does it leave Euston?

 

The three people hovering at Harrow & Wealdstone is a ridiculous bug that needs fixing asap. Plus I seem to have lost train announcements on the 350s now?

 

Just a small thing I realised. The services for the different 350 subclasses don't match with the WCMLS timetable. I did a Crewe to London service in the lovely sounding 350/4 but that same service is run by a 350/1 in WCMLs which I don't enjoy driving as much with the subpar sounds. The 350/4s only do Tring and MKC service on WCMLS while they only do Crewe services on TVL.

 

I'm playing the Steam version of 2025 (Evero) in timetable mode.

Even after the June 17th update, I still haven't encountered a 12-car train, despite operating all four Class 350 train types during rush hour. I was really looking forward to it, so I'm disappointed to only see 8-car trains.
Could the "Route Hopping" feature be causing issues?
I'm confused and can't figure out the cause.

 

On the Evero 2025 timetable some of the AI Pendolinos depart Milton Keynes with their doors still open, usually the services that aren’t booked to call at MKC IRL.

What about the Class 350?
For example, there is a local service running from Crewe to London Euston;
it operates as a 12-car train but is reduced to an 8-car formation starting from Milton Keynes.
I find it difficult to understand why the train length is reduced when heading toward a major city.

 

The devs just didn’t sync up the timetables properly, so while you can play services that take place on both routes, you probably aren’t going to be in the same subclass or consist.

Regardless of the underlying system, assuming that the coordination is simply out of sync helps cut my frustration in half.
I don't live in the UK, but regarding this route—Milton Keynes has several stations; is the one in question actually a station where trains are split?

Also, the crowds of passengers at the new Harrow station lead to collisions every time I head toward Euston.
It makes it impossible to stay calm.

 

No, trains don’t typically split at Milton Keynes (I think LNWR did used to split the Northampton sets on Sundays but it’s not regular anymore).

As for passengers, yes it’s a game wide issue they keep wandering onto the tracks.

 

Just to report route hopping at MKC from WCMLS to Trent Valley not working for me. Enter the icon, ensure MKC ticked as location, select the full timetable and deposited in a blue void!

 

A blue void is still preferable to Milton Keynes, no?

I find it easier to just back out to the menu and load in to Trent Valley on the train you want, anyway. It seems slightly more immersive only having to cut-in again, rather than meandering across half the station and back.

 

I’ve got the black squares on buttons in the 805.. not a game breaker… I’ve made light of the random passengers walking on the track.. and to a point it is funny to see them acting like the living dead… but one appeared yesterday at 110mph.. actually made me jump for a split second.. heaven knows what effect this has on a real driver who experiences this irl.

 

I am keeping a close eye on when the new passenger bug at Harrow Station—introduced in the June 2026 update—will be fixed.
I am tired of the accidents where I collide with trains every time.
Regardless of the play mode, I end up making contact with three people.
