Also remember the AWS is only active around Preston. So if you're heading to Blackpool past the junction and hear nothing, it's fine.

I noticed a bug : on the new timetable, service 0S91 with class 47 , you are starting the service in the wrong cabin

How come there is 2 timetables for the 47 that do stopping services between preston to Ormskirk then Ormskirk to Blackpool north? 0Z02 and 0Z03 In the new Blackpool branches timetable. just confusing how its just a light loco stopping at stations along the way. On ps5

Yeah, I can't comment on the "duplicate" but always assumed the first one was a route learner.

Just dived back into Blackpool Branches and obviously having Crewe - Preston means all 24 layers in new timetable are now active.
While it's great to have the new Class 20 on the tour, it's a weird consist. No idea why there's two BGs in it, if it was the same in old timetable, they could have updated it a little, only need 1 brake vehicle.

They made it work on the new 47/3, surely the others can be fixed as well !?

Yes, I would expect that it will be patched accordingly (maybe it was patched yesterday), I just remember them being forced to isolate it due to issues with the core programme.

Thanks. Hadn't played the tour since completing it when the route came out.
In that case, they could have improved the consist! :D

Bar bug fixes we're not intending on doing any changes to the 47/4 included in Blackpool and Shap.

    New timetable, same great taste!

Am I the only noticing that the 47/4 has lost its bogie run sounds? The BR blue variant is definitely affected, I’m unsure about the others versions included with Shap.

If you are not the only one, I'm really starting to wonder if this 'sound update' DTG have done is having a serious effect on things

I don't know if it's the update or a reverse-placebo effect, but I have the impression I'm hearing a lot more garbled sounds across all routes since the recent updates, particularly noticeable with the horn, AWS warnings and passing train sounds

We haven't touched anything on the Blackpool or the Shap one so I have no idea what's happened there.

Think the audio change done to the UK stuff was relating to passenger announcements, hence it was only limited to recent UK stock. Not entirely sure the list was entirely accurate as well.

I just tried that one, but I start in Preston station, not the sidings you have in your pic.
That said, it is still the wrong cab.

On another note, some nice feedback.

Been so busy with the new route, I had not noticed you could get the 47/3 and 86/4 subbing in on Blackpool Branches.

Not sure I'd want a 47/3 on Mk2fs if I was a passenger, but I'm definitely going to use it on a freight run or two!

It looks like most of the 86 ECS workings start in the wrong cab. Done 3 in a row, each one wrong cab.

The service is in two parts, if I'm not mistaken, and I started with part 1 ,that's why I was in siding
Edit: I noticed that there are 4 services 0S91, specifically the service in my screenshot was 0S91 North Union - Preston (part 1) at 9:20 am

I did some further investigation today, the Shap 47s are unaffected by the lack of running sounds. However, I did experience where the AWS self-test did not activate. Sounds like something on the DTG end of things that flew under the radar.

Yes, I eventually found it. But even the other parts start in the wrong cab. Thankfully the 86 is one you can quickly walk through to the other end so at least I can still play them.

Just spotted something which I didn't see on the changelog, the seat fabric on the GMPTE orange 142 has now been changed to the correct one (blue stripes) having originally been left the same as the Provincial and Skipper (orange stripes). Nice little fix there, thanks :)

That hasn't changed at all, the GMPTE one always had the correct moquette.

So went back to it today, the lack of variety with regards the 45, 31 and 40 is disappointing and I hope we see them come back.

However I did a Blackpool North-Euston service earlier with a loco change.

A single 47 on load 12 was a storming flat out run (with stops at Poulton and Kirkham), plus running into Sidings after. Great stuff.

    I just miss my variety.

I miss the 31 and 45, but I'm getting great enjoyment out of using the 47/3 on the route.
Hopefully they will be back soon. That said, I still prefer the new timetable.

I have a lot of image tearing when driving and in free camera, especially between Blackpool North and probably Poulton-le-Fylde (it's the first branch station, as there is a 20mph limit there). Especially when driving with Pacer, but not only with it. It's nothing new, it's been like this for a long time, I've tried to mention it a few times, but no response, I also sometimes feel like I'm the only one who has this happening on PS5 Pro. Thanks to that, I don't play this map. But since it also happens on Preston-Carlisle when Class 142 is active, I'm a bit suspicious of Class142

kinda late to the party, but anyone knows if Pacer has only AWS or also DSD/DVD... I have already located AWS/TPWS switches and such, and found the DSD/DVD pedal... also, read that DVD on the other loco is still buggy? anyone can get me up to speed on state of things on this route pls :)

The 142 only has the systems you mentioned. But AWS only triggers around Preston. (Been a while since I played this route, so Blackpool North may have AWS magnets too. TPWS wasn't a thing in the time period the route is set in

so DSD/DVD only is there as automatically pressed pedal (unpressing in motion triggers unrecoverable emergency braking?) and AWS is activated by a trigger... tho I saw TfW variant from the game, and that one also has TPWS switch to the right of AWS lever... is it cos it is a newer variant?

I was hoping this was going to be fixed in the latest big patch - just like it was for the Mark 1 Barrier Coaches in the HST Farewell Pack - but, alas, it was not.

I guess it's the same 'missing backend livery name' as was the case with the HST Farewell Pack...?

I think some of the liveries/variations must have got a bit messed up in the new timetable as I saw the Skipper livery (with the brown and cream) pacer at Blackpool North which I didn't think was correct?

It's correct. They didn't last very long darn sarf and ended up being transferred up norf.

a bit after Kirkham & Wesham the speed changes from like 30 to 75, but there is no speed sign that I can see saying that the speed is now 75 mph

edit: also noticed that if I leave throttle in any notch and I brake, in step 2 it engages traction lock aka cuts power, but if I release the brake while still in motion, the selected throttle will then re-engage... is this prototypical? I know US diesels can do this :)

The behaviour is correct. Throttle can only be used in brake step 1 but drivers would only do this as described below. Step 2 and 3 will cut power.
Before departures from stations etc, drivers will set the brake to step 1, then use throttle step 3 to build up the revs and release the brakes to depart.

so lets say you brake step 2, but forget to put throttle back to zero, you lower your speed, then release the brake, and throttle resumes where you left it?
