Steam Game Crashing With Exception Stack Overflow

When enabling banking comms on loco formations game will crash with EXCEPTION_STACK_OVERFLOW.

Reproducable: Always
Steps:

1. Go to Training Centre
2. Spawn 2x BR 155 Press from Bremen-Oldenburg
   
3. Couple them together
4. Go to lead loco
5. Insert reverser and set to forward
   
6. Unlock brakes and release them
   
7. Push the Banking Comms Button (In this case the Red Emergency Call Button on the GSM-R)
   
8. Crash!

Remarks:
- No Mods
- Fresh Install

 

Obviously this shouldn't happen, but other than not crashing what'd be the expected behaviour here? Is that locomotive capable of multiple unit mode? That I know of, wasn't it only a few MEG ones that were modified for it?

 

Banking Comms isn't multiple unit mode as you seem to think. Please stay away with comments if you are not from DTG or don't know what you are talking about as it makes such matters needlessly difficult to keep track of.

 

First of all, I Would suggest to be more kind to people trying to understand the issue and help you. If you don't want people to reply on your post, well maybe don't post at all.

Banking is used when 2 locomotives are not coupled together, you stated you coupled them together.

So based on your own discription of the issue, you're trying to do something in an incorrect way. What happens when you put freightwagons in between and then activate banking?

 

If you don’t want help from other users, why post it here? If you only want help from DTG, it’s better to open a support ticket and not write anything here. If you write something here, you can expect people to respond, right? I personally find you're reaction a bit strange.

and yes 1 at front of the wagons and the other at the end
