    Hi,

I just bought the Victory Works GWR 56xx locomotive add-on.
Once installed, why does it display KARMA99???

The problem I'm having with this product is that it doesn't work with RW Enhancer 2!

Of all the products I’ve installed (Victory Works, Bossman, Smoke Box, Meshtools, and so on), this is the only one that doesn’t work with RW Enhancer 2.

RW Enhancer 2 recognizes it, but when I start a scenario, none of the RW2 gauges are overlaid on the scene!

    Any ideas, anyone?

The RW2 forum seems completely dead. The only way to contact VW seems to be through Facebook, which I don’t have.

    Thanks in advance,

    Richard.

I think the builder of the GWR 56xx was a chap who goes by the name Karma99

It is an OLD Loco which is why RWE2 does not work with it

I don't know if Victory Works are still going as most products are sold thru Steam Sounds Supreme.

    Thank you Peter,

Still happy to have snagged a good deal during the summer sales.
The scenarios seem to be working. Too bad about the compatibility with RW2...

Yes, it is quite an old product but works fine for me - I don't use RWE2. Compatibility between third-party products can always be an issue.

Lots of developers change their name over time, it can be confusing:
    Karma99 became Victory Works
    Bossman Games became PLD
    GordonMack became MatrixTrains
    ... and there are others.

It is usually a result of trying to sound more professional when turning one's amateur development into a business.

Not to mention RSC changing to DTG.

Peter Gillham's email address at Victory Works appears in most of the manuals, although it seems not that particular one. Just look up any manuals of his products on Steam - eg https://store.steampowered.com/manual/562398 - and you will find it. He is one of very few small developers that will interact with his customers.

    Thank you John,

Good idea—I hadn't thought of that. I'll take care of it as soon as possible...

I usually find if these products play up with RWE2 or in my case Cobras software in advanced mode it is because the Engine Script calls another script which is not accessed via RWE2 (or Cobras software), this is the issue with the latest updates from AP as well.

I drove the GWR 56 on the Somerset Dorset Railway and had no issues reading the gauges, but found another issue that the coal wagons didn't show that they were coupled, but I was able to 24010_25.jpg 24010_26.jpg move them. I use RW 2.

It might be because the couplings you have in NZ are different but the wagons are showing coupled.
There is a coupling at both ends of a wagon but only one is used - the other just hangs down.
