    Hi there,
I'm new to PC. Have been an xbox players for years but now I have a gaming laptop I thought I'd give TSW a shot on here. I have managed to install some mods for Edinburgh to Glasgow already which I am loving but can anyone tell me where you should place the mods in your files for base game lighting enhancements (e.g:
    TSW 6 | Lighting & Visual Quality Enhancement vTSW6.1
    https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/m...cement-v-tsw61#item-installation-instructions)

    Thanks
    Nathan.

First you need to install the God Mode mod if you haven't already done so (you should anyway, it's invaluable just for Zoomier Zoom alone).

Then download the zip of your choice for your laptop's specs, extract the files and do what it says in the first line on that page you linked: "Installation is described in the accompanying manual".

Most mods just go in this folder:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Train Sim World 6\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC

Or wherever your steam folder is installed. If a particular mod has a different install method, it should be explained in the description.

    Hope this helps!

    This!

TSW Nathan You could also drop them in "Paks", but "DLC" is that right usually. May need to activate some of them through in-game mastery rewards! Read the authors' descriptions carefully and look at any necessary dependencies first!

Can also go here, C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\TrainSimWorld6\Saved\UserContent

This folder will allow the game option to turn them off and on..

I tend to use the documents folder as to separate what's a mod and what's not
