Given the recent announcement of a licensed South West Trains livery for the Class 350 for the Mildmay Line Richmond extension this could lead to plenty of opportunities for South Western Main Line routes in TSW So I Thought an Acceptable starting point for the SWML would be the 45 mile long section from Winchester to Poole including the branch line from Brockenhurst to Lymington Pier The routes included stations are: Winchester Shawford Eastleigh Southampton Airport Parkway Swaythling St Denys Southampton Central Millbrook (Hampshire) Redbridge Totton Ashurst New Forest Beaulieu Road Brockenhurst Lymington Town Lymington Pier Sway New Milton Hinton Admiral Christchurch Pokesdown (for Boscombe) Bournemouth Branksome Parkstone (Dorset) Poole Trains Included: Class 158 Class 159 Class 444 Class 450 Class 73 Layers From Other Add-ons: Class 220 Class 377 Class 66 Class 70 (I don’t know if a Class 70 has ever run this far down south so please correct me if I’m wrong and I will remove it from the layer list)
I think 70s can be spotted around Southampton, don't know if they went down towards Poole (don't even know if there are any terminals near there)
Could be wrong but aren't the Class 450, 464 only available for South Western Trains currently. We all know that EMT Class 158 dubbs your Class 159 so would be mix matched between realistic South Western & non South Western stock. Sure we don't currently have any Class 444 unsure what could be dubbed by. You forgot GWR Southampton - Eastleigh / St Denys. Be a great route hopping route at Southampton, if we gain West Coast way. Of note was thinking London Commuter opening Queenstown Road from Clapham Junction now this is a availble same trains from which call at Richmond mostly I'm sure. But probs won't happen. Like Mildmay line, or London Overground.
I think you’ll find I expect to see a SWT Livery for the Sprinter if this route ever came to TSW if DTG didn’t do it I would not be happy
