I am interested in hearing more about the in-cab announcements, pun fully intended. On some routes it has been implemented well enough but on other routes these announcements are barely audible (such as Crewe - Preston). The sliders in the audio menu for all of the announcements don't seem to have the desired effect and don't save properly once changes are made. We also had the recent update to Morristown completely remove the in-cab announcements.

In regards to platform announcements, it has become clear that to make them louder the ambient volume must first be increased. This despite the fact that platform announcements have their own dedicated volume control as well. The sliders for ambient and platform sounds should be independent. This on Series X.

 

• How are the screenshot contests judged?
• Previous July roadmap graphicss have had content to be announced at the dovetail direct sections on them, last years even directly showing the tsw 6 logo. This years July roadmap doesn't have that space. Why is this? What does this mean for the future of TSW?
• Was there any consideration to having a duplicated version of the new timetable for Fife Circle with some 170 services swapped for a 158? As it is currently players have to choose a separate timetable if they want to drive a 158 or a HST.
• Speaking of, the Class 158 timetable for Fife Circle had a layer for an unannounced piece of content, that in this update got swapped for the existing GWE HST instead. Does this mean said unannounced content is dead?

 

Seconding the inquiry about the Scotrail HST, that was going to be a day one purchase for me, the moment I first saw the layer in the timetable.

 

When are we likely to see the DB 420 and 232?

Do you honestly think Tadami is going to release before Dovetail Direct and the dawn of TSW7 or whatever follows it?

On the subject of Tadami, I have reservations given some of the quality issues with their TSC work - including that sim's versions of this route. Can you confirm rigorous scrutiny is in place to prevent customers falling prey to more less than optimum content?

Will we ever get more save game slots or the fixes to the save game the EP assured us where "with Engineering", months if not years ago?

When will TSR's get sorted to provide more random speeds and distances?

Edit: One more from me, when will route hopping get fixed, in its current state rather broken as testified by my recent "Length Of Britain" run when none of the locations worked properly, if at all.

 

DTG does not have any answer to that yet. They are waiting for me finishing that stuff. The 232 setup work will start right after the 420 got released. No clue when it will be ready then. Takes all its time.

For speculation use GTA 6 or when not applicable anymore use GTA 7

 

Will the North London Line extension release before Dovetail Direct?

Will Rivet continue to revisit E2G & FCL to add further features? (suspension, GSMR, a 1:1 timetable now they have Tylers talent onboard).

 

Month 5 of me asking about the GWR Class 387 . Should we expect it in TSW6 mow?

 

1. Now the Roadmap has been split into "Add-Ons In Development" and "Coming At A Later Date" which is confusing.
The first includes projects likely to release soon, then only Tadami has been said to release before the direct so it means all the other wont while put into the same category?

2. Adding to my first question. What is going on with Nürnberg Ingolstadt? First Roadmap after its announcement it was said to be finished and a showcase announced for may which never happened and ever since complete silence.
Looking at its position in the coming soon category and given its said to have been finished months ago, is there still hope for it to release before the direct?

 

The stream has already gone (did anyone actually watch it?!) so pointless adding further questions at this point.

 

The amount off questions in this thread show how little intrest people have in the road map now.

 

Was posted a little late. I couldn't get a question in ahead of the stream as there was 3 hours or so in the middle of the night. Agree it is a quiet time though.

 

While the roadmap is something to look forward to, addressing bugs across the board is the most urgent priority. Steam ratings get reset with a new release, and I’ve suffered losses because of this.
There has been no word regarding the last three updates—even after providing feedback on new bugs.

 

Well in fairness. There was nothing new announced and no new information really. What questions was there to ask really?
