Game Update Train Sim World 6 Update - July 9th 2026 Feedback Thread

Nope they surely didn't, so much for the quality checks before an update goes out, i could do a so much better job than them it seems.

 

It works but is very muffled. And at least they appear to have fixed the high tone getting stuck.

However as I posted in the Fife Circle feedback, although there is now track sound it seems to have a staccato ripple/loop running through it and trains are not making any clatter going over points or crossings.

 

With regard to the Class 385 sound improvements... Well on pullaway it still sounds like a cross between the Class 484/a set of strangled bagpipes/a 1950's flying saucer taking off. At higher speeds when accelerating or power cruising the traction sounds seem to have been improved by the simple expedient of absenting them altogether. Not impressed. Still probably the worst UK train in the game (with the caveat I don't own and never will the Class 90).

 

I agree with you, the 385, its a mess for sure.

 

Correction.... It was a mess and that still remains so nothing changed here but hey... Its Rivet so better you dindt expect that.

 

I think all patch notes should be evaluated by the all 3rd parties and DTG make sure it’s correct before the update goes live to make sure it’s accurate for us customers

 

this situation has happened how many times now? wrong game versions, wrong patch notes, wrong updates, we can't merge routes but a third party can, we can't make long routes - oh wait we can, the problem is layering because it loads in all the content from the other pak files into memory - oh wait no it isn't.

Does anyone actually know what is going on here? It's like dtg all work from home but without internet or telephone and rely on messenger pigeons to talk to eachother. For once can we get something straight before hitting send.

Ps.
Remember that PC mod we were promised for the class 90 to improve textures and the like? Is that a fever dream or gaslighting or am I just going mad here?

So, judging by the feedback thread, my favorite route, Liberec to stará Paka, after the update worse than before. Thanks for nothing... that's how you get rid of customers!

 

You can't make this up. Amateurs! But charging Pro- prices. Get your act together, fer chris' sake.

 

Just did a trip to Mannheim, not seen the bright lighting in the tunnel anymore. Are you sure you have the patches installed?
Playing on Xbox Series btw.

 

On pc thats not fixed. I have done a few runs and its still there.... Maybe on pc this update is missing. I will check that later when im at home if the pak file has changed

 

That's interesting, was the problem actually in both ways, so in direction to Mannheim and Kaiserslautern?

So it's not the direction. I'm curious if there was an update on PC at all for this route.

 

So i have checked an YES its missing. Last update for the Mannheim Kaiserslautern route dates from january last winter. So thats why its not fixed. I have send it to dtg_jan via a private message if he can check this. Hopefully we will have the update soon!
