I've been running Train Sim 2020 for a month or two now, but ran out of disc space with all the addons I bought, so I uninstalled it, re-arranged my disc partitions and re-installed in the new, much larger partition. Since then various things don't work, notably the AWS on any British loco or unit doesn't sound on any signal aspect, red, yellow or green. Secondly the combined throttle and brake on the updated HUD is so course that it's almost impossible to do any yard shunting, and thirdly the SW1500 switcher in the Laramie Yard only moves forward, no matter where the reverser lever is. That obtains in both 3D and HUD mode.
Go in to Settings > Gameplay and check it is not in Simple Mode That might disable some of the function you are having a problem with Peter
Ahah, yes, that's EXACTLY what the problem was, thanks very much. All is restored to what I'm familiar with now. It's odd that selecting 'Simple Mode' over 'Expert Mode' should cause a loco to only travel in one direction though. Thanks again.
