I've built a sound mod - extracted everything from the pak files, edited and repackaged via the Unreal editor, and put those files back in the correct file structure but I can't seem to get it to cook using the TSWModdingFolder. I get to the power shell bit and it just creates an empty file and no pak. I'm using unreal 4.27.2. I've also tried this in the Mod Manager of the editor -it loads for a while then fails. I'm at a bit a loss and there's not much info about it online. Someone please help a noob.

So to cook you need the MOD to be in the DLC folder for cooking.

I'm trying to learn to mod my own sounds as well and there is a severe lack of tutorials or even people who are willing to teach you how to do it. It's frustrating

Here is a livestream, where we tried to do an "easy" soundmod, just by changing some sounds.
It was done with the unofficial editor, but that should not be a problem.
The video is in german, but you can use the autotranslation of the CC from youtube. Hope that helps.
