Hiya, Are you referring to the alternative timetable supplied with the Expert BR101 and IC Steuerwagens? If so, that's a separate DLC which is not part of the Ludwigsbahn route. Additionally I can add that the Expert wagon series is built with its own compatibility database, so it's not simply a case of the Zags tanker being compatible. The expert content itself needs to be updated to add 'awareness' of the new vehicles. This is therefore at the discretion of the owning developer.
Hi Everyone, As they always prove useful for Cargo Line releases, here is a comparison of the different tankers available in TSW. From top to bottom: 1970s UK TEA; Modern UK TEA; German Zags; German Zacns; US Tankcar
The 1970s UK TEA first appeared in the BR Heavy Freight Pack by DTG in 2019 for the Northern Trans-Pennine route. This features the Class 40 and a Class 08 in BR Blue alongside the TEA tanker and a BR Standard Van. I believe it then appeared in the Preston to Blackpool & Omskirk route by Just Trains in 2023, covering oil traffic off the Burn Naze branch.
In TSW the most cargo is limited to 100km/h/62mp/h what is not very realistic. For scenarios it will happen that its not setup the same as in timetable modus
They should sort it out cause doing 62 sometimes gets boring at least with gas you can do a bit of speed. No i was wrong 62 with gas on a timetable run
Sorry, what? That’s way to much… This is completely incorrect. Cargo in Germany is generally limited to about 4,000 tons on flat railway lines. If I take the Zags loading capacity which is 22.4 tons including the load and you multiply that by 26, excluding the locomotive, you end up way above that limit. You’re at around 5,000 tons or even more, and that’s on a mountain/hill line, so not even flat. Unloaded, 26 wagons shouldn’t cause any issues, but I’m assuming your scenario is with them loaded. So with liquefied natural gas.
Getting crashes to desktop with these wagons on Mittenwaldbahn in free roam and the dispolok Br 182. First time managed to spawn the wagons with a BR185, deleted the 185 then spawned two BR182 then coupled everything and got the train moving and it crashed leaving Innsbruck Gbf, the second try after checking files via steam (no errors) i did the same but this time it instantly crashed when coupling the two BR 182 to it. Running on PC/Steam, no mods, normally no crashes and never on this route, so i am assuming the wagons might be the cause.
Hmm strange.. can you share a picture of the wagon with the data on it... So where that maximum speed is located... I'm very curious what the max weight is of the wagon... Could be that i have seen a different weight on the picture that i had from the web.... Edit i have watched a livestream and found the maximum weight indication and the maximum weight is 34,8 so if you duplicate that times 26 you never get 4300 ton.... Or the train was half loaded but in TSW you never can check that sadly enough. Strange for sure
Max speed is limited by the riolling stock - The new gas tankers have a max rated of 75 - other freight rolling stock has different limits
In UIC wagon notation, a wagon class name ending in -ss can be hauled at 120 kmh/h, while one ending in -s is limited to 100k, but can often be allowed at 120k when empty. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UIC_classification_of_goods_wagons
Amazingly already seen some popsts on the socials saying its just another reskin and a money grab.. I'm like "visit the optician much?, maybe you should" lol Hentis
Where did you have this 80 ton from? If you look at the picture above i have 34,8 ton maximum load. I try to understand what i did wrong there hehehe
I think they missed a zero. =-) 22.4 x 26 is 582.4 I think they missed the decimal point and got 5,824.
Hello. Here you have pictures of the great GAS Tank add on, being the freight locomotives VECTRON, and BR 187. Ones on Koln - Aachen route, and others on Leipzig Dresden one. Hopes you liked it.
