Hi guys, bought the above as its very cheap on sale at the moment, the steam version has no official gwr branding, does anyone know of a branding patch or anything for it? Not the end of the world but be handy if there is one.
Not a branding patch but you can download a branded GWR livery for the Class 166 from the Superalbs Travels website on this page here: https://superalbs.weebly.com/train-sim-reskins.html So if you know how to use the Locoswap program, you can replace the unbranded JT 166s with the branded ones from Superalbs Travels. Alternatively, you could refund your purchase of the Wessex Mainline DLC published on Steam and buy it from Just Trains website instead here: https://www.justtrains.net/product/wessex-main-line-southampton-salisbury-extension It is on sale there at the moment too however not as cheap as the discount on Steam at the moment. The version from JT directly has the 166s and other stock correctly branded as for whatever reason, it seems JT cannot include a lot of branded stock on Steam but on their website they can. The version on their website also has 7 additional scenarios you don't get from the Steam version as well, however they require additional payware. If you read the description it gives you details on what scenarios don't require additional payware, and the additional payware required for the extra scenarios alongside the payware versions for the default scenarios as routes bought from the JT website will include both default and payware versions for most scenarios for those who may not have all the extra paid requirements.
Well i'm using the superalbs now but the default 166 is naff, don't really want to pay an extra £10 just to get some branding so its all good anyway.
