Having watched the Youtube video produced by TrainSim_TV I have to say that I found the video a very fair summary.

The idea and implementation is very interesting, BUT some of the scenery was either rushed or needed a second eye casting over it to give it some extra polish. When your main selling point is enhanced aesthetics you have to make sure that aspect is super spot on.

This small annoyance but I would like to know why no one from DTG have said that the mastery is being sorted.

Since the forum cutbacks I've only seen Jan frequenting these spaces. Maybe he just hasn't gotten round to finding an answer and replying. It did only release 24hrs ago. I am sure he will be along very soon. :)

We were told route hopping would be available for both Thames valley and gwr routes so we could switch between them but I’m not seeing any route hopping markers on the gwr version, unless it’s on an older reduced timetable

[QUOTE="mradexter#7647, post: 1135178, member: 62787" just checked both timetables and neither have route hopping to the Thames Valley, I thought this was one of the big selling points?
Loving the route itself but just feel let down by lack of route hopping from GWE

FallenAngel00me I think mradexter#7647 means there is only one way route hopping from Thames route to GWE remaster but not from GWE remaster back to Thames. Hopefully GWE gets patched with route hoppings to the Thames route.

I am pretty sure that incrediblehannes said on the LiveStream that route hopping had been added to the GWE Route and was waiting a patch update release date by DTG. Given DTG history on these matters expect it in 2035

And do those services have AI drivers switch ends?

Based on what other people have said no, the AI driver doesn't switch ends

Well then, perhaps they should have broken up the service.

Then people would have whined about that lol. It's annoying, but it's only an eye roll moment, doesn't kill the immersion

Hiya, I meant you can’t route hop from GWE to Thames valley, it works fine the other way round, just frustrating that you can’t hop back and forth between the two simultaneously

I've experienced a similar thing. I've only played a couple of scenarios, and it happens about halfway through when pulling into a terminus before changing ends. The only way I've found of recovering is to reset the physics.

I believe this has been answered earlier in the thread, the TPWS is set for 8.5 mph, so even though the limit is 10, you need to be below that going over the TPWS grid.

Im wondering if there will be a layer for the 150/2 as a substitute for the 165 if the units are in maintenance and cover for them because I think they have done it at some point correct me if I'm wrong

Don’t think they ever have, the closest a 150 has got is on the Reading to Basingstoke service and that was a 3 car 150/0.

Scud 1 and Scud 2, IIRC from my former colleagues on the GWR LTV Desk!

For more interesting traction you would have to go back to DMU days. the through Henley and Bourne End services were generally 117's with either Class 101's or 104's on the off peak services. Might still have had some 121's and trailers kicking about then too.
