DTG, you're constantly chasing new features to create a beautiful advertising text in anticipation of the release of a new game. Advertising is more important to you than results, and that's a statement, not a question. Because how many of these features actually work? Let's take a look. Rush Hour - passengers are broken. Moreover, on many routes certain platforms are broken. ToD - nights are completely flat without fog. It's impossible to play with even a minimum amount of fog at night because on many RS's the headlights turn the view from the cab into a solid white wall. Overcasting destroys all color. Shadows at sunset multiply to the point of a black hole. A constant pale haze that warps objects 100 meters away from the player, reminiscent of the original Silent Hill (with the same graphics level). Dynamic weather - It's just LOVE. So LOVE that no one uses it. It's always 100% foggy, always thunderstorms. The weather changes abruptly and always in the same way. Sound in tunnels and under bridges - Why does the sound of the horn on any train is not changing in tunnels and under bridges? Suspension - we move up and down, that's enough for us. There is no sideways movement on a railway. After introducing the suspension, you simply stopped creating wear in the track configurations. Now we ride perfectly flat, occasionally bouncing on the switches. Random breakdowns - I still haven't recovered from the release, where it was just shitiest LOVE. But even now it's the same thing, with the same frequency, in the same places. Announcements - it would seem that everything is fine here. It could be, if it worked everywhere and didn't get broken on random trains with every patch. I've never played the conductor mode, because it's not interesting to me. What do you think -is it well implemented or just as usual?
What is LOVE ??. Baby don’t hurt me. Don’t hurt me. No more. But seriously what do you mean when you say “It’s just LOVE” ??
I agree with OP. To make things worse, the game's performance seems to be decreasing too in my experience, with newer routes being more demanding. Last thing we need is even more features that increase the load on our machines. Especially when they're just as broken or simply forgotten like the older features.
It is. The word "bad" doesn't describe the situation well enough, so I chose another one, which the filter replaced with LOVE.
It's replacing a swear word. Some people are unable to have a discussion or make a point without swearing so it seems.
Think in this case LOVE refers to the common word for brown foetal matter, though not sure why in this day and age it is deemed to cause offence, even gets through into PG rated programmes etc. The only taboo word these days is the one that begins wit c and rhymes with runt. Even my missus tells me off about that one, usually when someone cuts in front of us in the car. But on the topic in hand, I do agree that the focus should be on fixing the core this time, not fluff we don't need.
Nah... It was just crab that ends with p I also forgot about the eye adaptation, which in some cabs disrupts the view, making the outside world incredibly white. Examples include American freight locomotives and the Metroliner cabcar.
With the June 17th update, passengers have started appearing at Euston in the PC (Steam) version. However, a terrible new bug has emerged where passengers at Harrow Station remain frozen in mid-air.
