I've never posted something on general discussion so idk if I'm missusing this part of the forums, but I'm curious what other people think the next cargo line packs are gonna be. We saw when Vol. 6 was released that 2 more cargo line packs are in the works, one for the UK, one for Germany. I'm curious what people think these are gonna be. My knowledge on the freight side of German railways is zilch but I've got a few themes in mind for future British cargo line packs although I doubt my 3rd thought in the thread I linked has any chance of coming to the game. I have no clue. As you have seen they make all kind of things, some very common as oil tanks and some more rare like nuclear. As the last one was somewhat common I would say the next one will probably be different.
I’d absolutely love a UK Cargo Line Speedlink pack with some air braked VGA, OCA and SWB tanker. It’s really needed on all the 80/90 routes.
Pretty sure Adam said he would like to do something with Coal a while back. Given that the new JT route does that, who knows...? Logs would be good especially since the Class 70 is on the way. Maybe a COLAS license?
I heard that one of the packs was going to be this (With working portaloos and awnings). Sounds like a winner to me
Didn't they get semi leaked in the layers of the game? I'm fairly sure they were a badly kept secret. I stand to be corrected though.
There is a separate layer for Colas along with Freightliner so I'd be willing to bet something that Colas Rail currently haul, and a VTG branded piece of rolling stock is more likely than not. I would love to see Coal and Ratcliffe upon Soar used - the track is there, the unloaders are there and there is already a fast travel point for some reason.... Otherwise Logs would be amazing
