Southeastern timetable 2019 Scenarios Temple Mills depot duty - Drive the unrefurbished Class 373 through the washer at Temple Mills depot. Then drive the train from Temple Mills depot to St Pancras for the first Eurostar service. Highspeed Run - Drive the unrefurbished Class 373 for an Eurostar service that is running late by bypassing Ebbsfleet station. It also includes scenarios as seen in Southeastern High Speed Extended. Why this route is fun and interesting: The Eurostar is one of the most highly requested railway brands in TSW. The sound of the Eurostar Train travelling past at 300 km/h is so satisfying. The HS1 has a speed limit of 300 km/h (186 mph) for Eurostar train services. This is the first time that users can drive a train at this speed on the HS1. It features passenger announcements in English, French and Dutch. This makes the first TSW route to have passenger announcements in more than one language. The international platforms at St Pancras International (platforms 5–10), Ebbsfleet International (platforms 1 and 4) and Ashford International (platforms 3 and 4) can be used. It brings back memories of people who travelled on the Eurostar when it stopped at Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International before the Covid-19 pandemic. The route takes place in 2019, when Eurostar celebrates its 35th anniversary, and the 10th anniversary of the Class 395. The route will be updated to include the latest TSW features, such as volumetric fog, guard mode, passenger announcements, and random events. It provides more timetable services and scenarios to the Southeastern High Speed Extended route. The Eurostar trains have a unique guard mode. It involves: checking for any faults on the train before departure, such as ensuring that the off-side doors and cab doors are locked, that the windows are intact, that the safety equipment (such as a window hammer and safety cards) is in place, and that there is no garbage or spills on board. Use the fault and call display to see any faults on the train. There are two train managers on one train. One of them makes announcements after departure and before arrival in London, closes the doors, signals to the driver for departure, and takes care of the passengers in the front half of the train. The other takes care of passengers in the rear half of the train and assists the driver as needed. These managers also swapped roles as the train returned to London. Greeting passengers as they boarded and unboarded the train. Helping some passengers find their seats before departure. Making sure that the luggage is stored safely and secured in the luggage compartment. Making sure that the vestibules and corridors are cleared. Greet passengers and ask them for any information as you walk the entire first half of the train after departure and before arrival. When arriving in Ebssfleet and Ashford, assist the other train manager to ensure that all the passengers are safely off and on the train, help both arriving and departing passengers if needed, and ensure everything is safe at your end of the train when it’s time for the other train manager to close the door. Blow the guard’s whistle, and then use torchlights to communicate with the other train manager during the door-closing process, as the train is quite long. After closing the door next to you, use the key switch (located next to the door) to signal the driver for departure. Set up the train’s passenger information system, which includes coach numbers, the train number, and destination, before departure in the train’s guard compartment. If you have any suggestions, please don't hesitate to share them with me.
ah, Eurostar... would love it... I would even welcome the Channel Tunnel and first stop(s) on French soil
About the only thing the route would benefit from is reverb for the tunnels and bridges. But there are older routes more in need of a remaster than this one.
I would rather see an extension to Dover Priory from Ashford International with the 395 from London St Pancras (fully drivable) and 375 (partially drivable) from a service from London Charing Cross, rather than seeing Eurostar within SEHS. If anything, I would say Eurostar should be its own DLC and not added to SEHS. I think the most realistic route for TSW would be London St Pancras to Lille, France, with a drive time of 1 hour 25 minutes non stop and at a distance of about 150 miles using the Eurostar e320 or the Eurostar e300.
