At least on console we dont have to worry about a mod messing something up. We have worry about dtg messing something up.
I must say TSW without mods is no TSW in general.... It add so much more quality to the game but you should know what can happen when you install mods.
The mod is being updated based on the newest RVV, I'll post here when its updated Updated PIS Mod: https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/m.../c19-patches/i7812-class-220-pis-enhancements
PS5: Still not fixed the non-illumination of the AWS sunflower then? Drove a service on Fife Circle at night and could not see the sunflower at all. Also on the same service, the cab dials (speedo, brake etc) went blurry but the 2 screens and rest of the cab were fine
I don’t get the inconsistency. It worked for MVL & from what I’ve seen Preston Crewe & Stamford. It seems like there is a method that actually fixes the issue, but it isn’t being implemented onto other content, instead there are different or half methods being used. I think the problem is only being solved when they tackle both the route & the rolling stock. Doing one or the other doesn’t appear to fix it. In the end I agree with you though, if the requirement to get rid of the problem is time, then I have no faith it will be solved, as time is the one thing above all else DTG likes to cut. Even new routes are still releasing with the problem, so they haven’t even bothered to implement this optimisation into initial development. It’s a total farce.
I think the problem has more to do with the 380, 390 and 801 AI on that route as once I turn off those layers I don't get blurry textures on the 220. But if I turn one of those on I get blurry textures by the time I reach Haymarket from Edinburgh. Also Series X.
PS5 Pro Today I tried a basic configuration on Riviera Line......more like just the base map + GWE Remaster + Voyager......3 static layers turned off.......before this configuration also started to struggle with blurring, today it was ok.....and we tried to pin Voyager on GWE to our previous configuration (I'm far from having full operation, especially the metro and secondary AI layers) and I would say that it also improved, but it could just be a local subjective feeling I'll probably try Fifecircle tomorrow..........
