In Your Opinion What's Your Most Favourite TSW Route For Example Mine Is Preston To Carlisle Because Of The Class 87 Driving It Is Particularly Easy For Me (I Don't Know If I've Done One Of These On General Discussion Before I Think I Have)
West Cornwall Local someone ? Just kidding, and I find a certain charm in it, despite obvious flaws. Personally, it's the combination of WCMLS and the Trent Valley. By far.
Hard to tell, as there are multiple routes I very much like to play and enjoy: Linke rheinstrecke Bremen - Oldenburg Salzburg - Rosenheim Also S-bahn Frankfurt and Zwolle - Groningen are high on my favorite list. I'm not that much into UK routes, but my favorite UK route is likely an odd one for many: Glossop line. I like the 323, Nothern colors and rural landscape of this route.
In no particular order, these are my favourites: Southeastern High Speed East Coastway Mannheim-Kaiserslautern WCML Euston to MK Zwolle-Groningen Medway Valley NY-Stamford Mittenwaldbahn S-Bahn Vorarlberg Edit: honourable mention to Manchester Airport. Well made route, but a little limited. Might bump it if class 90 services are added
Apart from the odd sound squelching it has to be for UK WCML Over Shap. For Europe, probably the Czech route with Mittenwaldbahn a close second. All the US routes currently uninstalled as compared to TSC (where my favourite is probably Feather River Extended) or Run 8 the experience is not that great on the freight route and most of the commuter routes got boring very quickly.
Mine are (in no particular order): UK Birmingham-Crewe Crewe-Preston WCMLS Medway Valley Trent Valley Europe: Stuttgart-Heilbronn Frankfurt S Bahn Mannheim-Kaiserslautern Frankfurt-Fulda Dresden-Riesa/Leipzig
Zwolle - Groningen. I mean, I know it's not a spectacular route, but as a Dutch person, at least it feels familiar unlike any other route.
Riviera line, Midland Mainline, West Coast mainline over shap. All fun and challenging in their own way, all hold great memories for me as well.
1. Frankfurt to Fulda 2. Frankfurt Sbahn (would wish for the FFM Hbf to Höchst RE section tho) 3. Kassel-Würzburg (Expert TT) HM: Zwolle-Groningen Nürnberg Ingolstadt will probably top KWG
I actually quite like the West Cornwall trainset Actually, I have all the trainset DLC, and I enjoy them all
Very hard choice to pick a favourite route, but no not really!!! GWE The Original and still the best and thanks to Liam for updating it
London Overground Lines WCML South Birmingham Cross City Manchester Airport Commuter Glossop Line Brighton Main Line
Leipzig Dresden for me, mostly due to the 145 Ex, there's just so much to do! But apart from that, probably Bremen Oldenburg.
Yea these are great routes and Stamford happens to be my favorite route. Just can get over how many trains they squeeze through only four tracks just before GCT My list in no typical order but for the US specifically has to be Stamford as my favorite route. LIRR2 Stamford London commuter -to this date my most played route with over 530+ played WCML crewe- Birmingham and WCML south with the 805/807 TT NYT-just love getting the Acela to 150. I left out Morristown at the moment because of the issues with no passengers getting on any multilevels. ☹️
Without a doubt, my favorite route is the Medway Valley Line! I’m completely hooked on this route and I just can’t get enough of it. In my opinion, no other TSW DLC even comes close to the quality and playability of this product from Firefly Simulations. And it’s also probably the only TSW expansion that’s virtually bug-free.
NJT Morristown. Lately 90% of the time I play TSW, I'm running this route. Typically, nice long consist with a braking system that felt intimidating at first, but I've now mastered it. It feels like I'm running a real train.
I'm here to share my love for the Cardiff Commuter lines. (Full disclosure: I travelled on this route for 15 years or more, so I'm obviously incredibly biased). The routes are not overly long and who doesn't love a clunky old diesel? Other faves: Riviera Line, Zwolle-Groningen, Bakerloo (ok super repetitive, but good for a quick run when you've got a little time to spare). I've only been playing for lees than a month, so opinions are subject to change.
I think in general that newer (including remastered) routes are generally better. Some older routes have great gameplay, but that's somewhat overshadowed by the old graphics. Ruhr Sieg Nord springs to mind
used to be Dresden Riesa, later Dresden Leipzig... mostly used to play German routes, but recently been driving mostly on UK ones... chill experience, simple safety system, engaging routes in general, with nice speed variety ... looking forward to Nurnberg Ingolstadt, will have to dust off my expert driving
My favorites are USA Cajon Pass and the retro Santa Fe pak Gp60 m pak ..NY Stamford.NJT Morristown. UK Crewe Preston.. Trent Valley.,Medway valley.. Birmingham Crewe..Germany Mannhiem Kaisrslautern..S Bahn lines ..and the Czech route
uk: medway valley and wcmls- both have services that are just about the right length for me to stay interested and engaged, and especially medway is exceptionally crafted germany: frankfurt s bahn and frankfurt fulda: busy routes with plenty to do, unfortunately i dont play fff as much as id like because it’s undeniably the worst tsw route for blurry textures. 2 years and still no fix US: i dont really play US routes due to most of them having dodgy signalling, but morristown delivered and is my favourite of the tsw6 core routes other countries: zwolle groningen is a well made route, an excellent foundation for dutch railways but unfortunately dtg don’t seem interested in going back there which is a shame, because there’s lots of great routes they could do
