Route Boston - Providence - Feedback Thread

- Timetable is still dumb - priority of a trains on a full random. Acela can get the lowest for some reason.
- Signaling is still paranoid - 6 miles from Back Bay gives an approach limited, while the train ahead already enters Boston South.
- Some trees still not casting shadows - it looks weird.
- There are some small white cubes flying all along the tracks (this is part of the contact network or tracks?) at the cab level.

But it's so fun to drive Stamford ACS-64. It rocks so well. You should try it.

 

Is stamford acs-64 improved over boston/ny one? Or pretty much the same?

 

Maybe a couple of bugs fixed, like constant "doors open" status on display. Otherwise only suspension. And the suspension really works great on Boston - Providence, creating a noticeable rocking motion at high speeds.
DTG used to create track configurations to simulate track wear. But now, for some reason, they've stopped. It's sad.

 

Brandon fixed the signaling on the route.

 

Signal 2164 before Route 128 always shows "stop and proceed" even if there are no other trains ahead.
Next signal(noname) after Route 128 always shows "approach medium".
I repeat, there are no other trains ahead till South Station. And this bug with signals happens every time I go north.
