Bit of a strange issue that has apparently been happening for a couple of timetables at least now. I hopped back in to a partially completed timetable (under Journey mode) by using the save feature, which I know can be dicey in these games. I completed it, was displayed the scoring screen... Score shows, but oddly the medal is missing. You can see I oversped at one point (and had a horrible first stop) but otherwise the score would've awarded a gold medal. Returning to the new game screen, indeed it shows the score but no completion indicator or medal. I went back to the other route I'm alternating with (Boston Worcester), and as I clicked on the next route I would've played, I realized that it too has a score already... And I vaguely recall completing this one awhile ago, too. Why is TSW no longer marking completion status or medals?
if you already done the service in normal timetable run and got a gold medal you will not see the medal reward in the journey mode it will only show if you improve the medal into a higher tier if it is not that then i do not know
That's a good thing to note, thank you for mentioning! I exclusively play in Journey mode though so I'm afraid that may not be it in this situation.
Well, this is strange. I did a very short timetable in Journey mode in the Boston Worcester route. Got medal and everything for it. Went and redid the Spirit of Steam Journey TT again, got a much lower score than before and no medal on the ending screen, but now the Journey displays the medal. Going to try the other BW route next and see if just completing it updates the Journey screen.
i think if you got a bronze for a journey run and then do the same run in normal but get gold the journey will update to gold once you redo the journey and even if you get a bronze again the journey saved date needs to update conclusion the medal scores are shared between journey and normal runs but journey only updates it if doing a rerun of it at least that is my experience
