    • What route? Wearsdale and Teesdale (1960s)- base it on the TSC route

How long? The route in TSC claims to be "200 miles" which would be a lot..but it's also not linear and a lot is small branches and sidings, so the actual mainlines aren't that long and it's more geographically compact (lower impact on performance) than other similar routes in TSW

What rolling stock? The route has the usual Class 8, 101, 37 but also the Class 25 as unique which would be its selling point as that is an often-recommended engine. I'd include a steam engine or two, not sure what ones would layer there best but they'd have been there in some fashion.

What landmarks? Lands Viaduct, Crook and Spennymoor branches, lots of unique stations in the pre-Beecher style.

Any unique features? It's very network-based instead of linear, it features lots of pre-rationalization (Beecher) stock and smaller branch lines, it's very much a "steam-diesel transition" time period.

Does it have long term replayability? There are a ton of different types of scenarios and timetables, as well as being a network there's a good variety of destinations.

What makes it different from other routes in game? There's really very little in the era and very few networks. It would have the Class 25 and older stock like caboose, brake cars, etc. It gives a reason to reuse a lot of existing stock assets as well as some unique things.

It's also a max speed of around 45mph and lots of branches so that both improves performance as well as allows more time to enjoy scenery.
