It depends on the system.... Are you playing in 4k? And everything maxed out in the settings? The problem is also the popping of the vegatation.
Yes. I'm playing on 4K. How about you just express this as your opinion/ personal taste and don't present it as fact (and don't state that it "isn't a success in consoles" based on one quote). That would help a lot.
So I’m supposed to rely on just one opinion from you and assume it runs well? That’s basically the same as relying on one negative comment. There’s no difference… It’s fine that it runs smoothly for you that’s your experience and I have no issue with that. I just say: enjoy driving it
I'am still not sure if it's worth it. Currently mostly busy with hammering all that new FdL stuff into my brain. No time to waste for bugged services or ol' well known "problems".
Ok the Xbox is slightly weaker than a PS5. I have an Xbox myself. So if I buy it I think I will have my fun with blurryness again
Not on paper it isn't, unless we are talking about the Pro, in which case iot of course is.Problem is that people are struggling to optimize for both S and X. Sorry to hear about XSX blurriness. I can't wait for the damnned Helix, hoping that will make everything run smooth. That would make me fork out those 150) Euros it's sure to cost.
The route is very well built and done. Chapeau to the initial developer. I hope it is okay to have pointed out features sadly amiss, which were noticed by me as a frequent traveller of the route and local https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/nuremberg-area.99042/ Others than that I am very glad to have the route. Kind regards.
As part of the campaign, it was mentioned that the layering will require, among other things, the Frankfurt-Fulda map and also the Niedertalbahn ...... Frankfurt seems to me to only be giving out a replacement DB Vectron, but I have no idea what the Niedertalbahn is good for? .........and then there is some inactive RB3031 layer ....... I didn't find out what it is either?
Does the 628 appear as AI? RB 30 and 31 at Nurnberg are services operated by class 68 DMUs IRL, so I expect that's the 642. They head off to the northeast (as do RE 30 and 31, which use the 612).
Build a Busier Railway Bring compatible content from across your Train Sim World collection onto Schnellfahrstrecke Nürnberg - Ingolstadt and create an even busier German railway. Additional timetable layers are available from: Schnellfahrstrecke Kassel - Würzburg Niddertalbahn Bahnstrecke Leipzig - Dresden Schnellfahrstrecke Köln - Aachen Stuttgart - Heilbronn Maintalbahn Frankfurt - Fulda These layers introduce additional trains and traffic across the route, with Schnellfahrstrecke Köln - Aachen playing a particularly important role in bringing additional S-Bahn traffic to the Nürnberg section. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/schnellfahrstrecke-nürnberg-ingolstadt-coming-soon.98958/
I didn't come across 628, even though we tried turning on substitutions... but the 628 doesn't have any direct layer, so the only AI substitution is for Desiro 642, but I wasn't lucky, and I have substitutions turned off for performance on PS5
https://train-sim-world.fandom.com/wiki/Schnellfahrstrecke_Nürnberg_-_Ingolstadt Here, 628 is also listed as AI Layer .... that's special )))
It blurs slightlyon PS5 Pro when driving, but really slightly, it can be seen at times on the spine at the front of the ICE 3 train set and the upper white line of the Dostos is slightly blurred as standard, especially on the Dosto Cabcar in front above the side window of the cabin (this is of course a classic that is always present, where there is a Dosto, there is blur) But otherwise, the map is generally doing well in terms of blurring textures. ( All layers except the last expert layer, substitution off) So, the horn on the ICE 3 is rather annoying for me, especially when driving fast, the sound is distorted in the cabin much more than with an external camera
How do we activate the AFB on the new Version of the ICE 403? 9 and 6 isn’t working anymore… Thanks a lot
So I bought it myself and the first run with the ICE some light blur around Nürnberg then second run SBahn a lot of blur thats so sad. Tried to reload the game the blur was gone but couldn't get the 442 running again. And also along the route some cars drive on gras because there is no highway build. Playing on XSX.
I am quite enjoying this route. It looks great and the modifications to the 403 are very well done. It would really be great if the 442 and the basic 101 were upgraded to today's standards. I know this isn't up to TSG, but the issues with these trains surely stick out yet again if you put them as important layers on a new route.
has anyone had issues with checkpoints not loading after locking the doors? the lock doors message remains even after they’re shut, and it means that you can’t continue the service any further. had this on the talent 2 and 101 so far
Just had this problem with the 101 Expert playing in the Leipzig - Dresden route. Had to re-open the doors and close them again to fix it. Service was 2442 and the problem happened at the stop at Riesa, in case it can help the devs find out what is going on. PC/Steam.
odd, i kept reopening them, closing them again, even resetting the physics completely but nothing helped
I was playing the 101 Expert with the virtual conductor, so it took me some time to notice I would not get the green signal from the conductor. Same when I re-opened the doors the second time. Maybe the time I spent waiting makes the difference.
In preparation of the release of Medway Valley, FireFly was set loose on the trains of SEHS to take them up to today's standard. This to make their appearance on the new route more worthwile. A great success in my opinion. I would have expected that this was to be the way forward with every new release (DTG's own and third party). There are other examples, but this one springs to mind as an extensive and succesful one. For this route it would have been great to have had the same way of working, specifically for the existing SKA 442 and the non-expert 101. Of course the scope of such improvements is to be discussed (is it just fixing of know bugs or more things like adding suspension, TOD4 headlights and/or texture optimization?), but a new route release gives great momentum to update older stock that layers onto it. Maybe it could even boost sales of the new content (and maybe even the to be fixed older content)? This should become standard practice for new releases.
