I thought this could do with an identifiable thread, and so onto the question. What do we hope for or think will be at Dovetail Direct for WoS?

My first hopes for a patch are:
~ The missing "SCARY JACK FROST!" scene.
    ~ Cutscene skip.
~ The game could do with some music, but not sure how that could work. Could it be a playlist or would they play depending on who we drive or where we currently are? Do we want a constant loop of Gordon's theme playing as we're going back and forth along the Mainline?
~ The ability to turn off the signal fail, the game can still punish us if we run it and crash into an oncoming Gordon or if we feel like being a cheeky little runaway Percy.
~ Minor map changes. I'm not expecting a brand new track leading to an abandoned mine, but at least something new to spot like a bright red dressing gown outside Mrs Kindley's Cottage.
~ Tying into the above, a new unlockable decoration similar to the 5 Fairground pieces.

I don't expect all ideas in one update, plus I don't expect a free engine or rolling stock in one either.

I agree with all the points you've mentioned, especially around the use of music.

Regarding updates, I would like to see a patch that fixes the dynamic weather which doesn't seem to work, at least on the PS5 version. I'd like to be able to add clouds and select the temperature, same way it works on Train Sim World.

I'd like the track monitor to be visible as on TSW, so we can remove the huge markers all over the screen.

As for DLC, I'd love to get a pack which includes the Brendam Branch with Edward, plus maybe NPCs including Trevor and Cranky at the docks.

The Skarloey line would be amazing, but if we get this at all I imagine it would come later as I guess there would be more work involved.

I agree, those would be cool along with maybe new DLC.
But first things first they should actually patch what was listed in april's patch... The radio silence since then isn't filling me with confidence either.

I wouldn't get my hopes up too much but let's see what they do on the 25th, what other choice do we have lol.

I like the fact that each locomotive should have its own music but have the option to disable it as well because I think that is could be annoying to have it on constantly. That said, I would like to see Brenham Docks added into the game and Edward's Branch Line as well. the latter could be sold as a DLC with Edward included that would make logical sense.

If the Smelter Works is to be added into the game then maybe Arry and Bert should be included with that line as well.

As for locomotive DLC's, they should be automatically added into the timetable and AI traffic. It would make sense to release these in this sort of order.

Edward and his branchline, that would make for a nice expansion to the map as well as another legacy member of the fleet as Edward was in the series from 1984. He would be included in the timetable, AI traffic and his own scenarios.

Henry and Rebecca, This would add another timetable layer for both passenger and freight services for both engines and for the express trains. Rebecca and Gordon would work them on timetabled mode and Henry would work the stopper services alongside James and Emily.

Toby and Duck, Toby would add a freight layer to the quarry and also he would be doing his own passenger trains with Henrietta as well. He would be working alongside Percy, Thomas and he would come with scenarios for shunting in the quarry as well as his own passenger and freight workings. Duck could work on Edward's branch line as well as do work in the docks alongside Diesel. Both would be added into the working timetable as AI and driveable services.

Donald and Douglas, these Scottish twins would add more freight layers into the working timetables and if the spiteful brakevan was included, maybe something from the storyline could be implemented here where Donald punishes the spiteful brakevan at the yard in the docks for example.

Bill and Ben, these two would be local to the quarry and would work alongside Toby, Percy and Mavis when the latter becomes available. Timetable layers and their own scenarios would add to the fun as player and AI trains.

Oliver, This one could be added into the timetable and perhaps include some shunting scenarios for him. I don't remember Oliver too well but as he is there, adding his workings into the timetable and AI traffic would be great.

Stanley, Rosie, Charlie, Belle and others like Nia, Hiro and the Chinese locomotives would be cool. As for the diesels, there is Diesel 10, Boco, Bear, Daisy and Mavis that would add to the traffic layers and the timetable. All playable in the game.

As many might agree, there is a lot of potential for this game expansion and I think about 2-3 DLC's as and when Mattel would permit these to be released by DTG would be fair enough and fine with me because as the game grows, it would be more and budget friendly to release the new DLC about 2 to 3 times a year to keep the excitement coming.

After all, Hornby and Bachmann never released all of their OO Gauge and HO Scale models in one heap, so that logic would make sense here too.

One of the first locos that come to mind who I could see getting added first aside from Mavis is Philip the little boxcar diesel. All I know about him is he shunts around Knapford and sleeps at the sheds at Wellsworth, two locations that are already in the main game. I find it a little funny thinking about running James's early morning haul and then you spot little Philip buzzing past on the Mainline to Knapford.
