Would be a nice additional option if the station name could be included above the blue upcoming station marker in the minimal hud view. It looks like there would be space in the bar itself without cluttering the view or other information presented? I like knowing where I’m racing through when playing routes (particularly when less familiar with them) and would be a helpful feature, rather than having to cut away to the map itself and fiddle with the zoom / cursor to infer where you are in the route, and also track your journey progression in a more immersive way.
It would be helpful for me if this feature were implemented, too. It would also be useful when exploring unfamiliar countries.
I still think perhaps one of the most ironic things about the minimal hud is the sheer amount of things people ask to be added to it.
True What I would like to see with the minimal HUD is more modularity. Having the option to activate/deactivate every single aspect of it separately, and the ability to place them on the screen wherever I like. That would be nice to have But right now there are more pressing matters to attend to for the programmers, in my opinion...
I still think the TSC HUD is superior in several ways. It's way more compact but still included much more info.
I don’t think the idea of a nice extra feature where the station name is displayed in the HUD is a bad one at all. As I work for the SBB in Switzerland, I’m familiar with many routes and the stations where you stop. With the DLCs, I usually know the start and end stations, but I’m hardly familiar with any of the stations where you have
