Well there are many routes as Bochum-Essen. I know it's the 7 wagon variation there but with all the new rolling stock we have got, this route def. needs an complete remaster like GWR had. Hopefully Frankfurt-Fulda as it's currently my favourite route. But where do you get Dresen Leipzig? Yeah as AI in Leipzig but I'm not aware that the ICE 4 drives this route, only the ICE T and ICE 1

Hmm. Not blown away by the UK route, but will wait to drive it before passing judgement.

Wonder if we can get a 3rd party to add the Keighley Worth Valley plus an EWS Class 37…or is this what DTG have up their sleeve…..

Could not disagree more with this statement. I would argue that the German part is the best part this year. Nürnberg-Würzburg is not the most exciting route in the world, but it connects Kassel-Würzburg and Nürnberg-Ingolstadt. I´m assuming timetables will match or at least TSG will make Gameplack packs with matching timetables at some point. The real star of the show are ICE 4 and BR 440. They will both give many German routes a new appeal. BR 440 can be repainted and applied to the modern Bremen timetable etc.... (this will only be a thing for pc players).

I could not care less for the UK route. Random commuter action up north. Not my cup of tea. The US route looked good a first, but some people have said it´s cut short and not even the same length as the original TSC route.

Now, the core improvements sound very promising. Can´t wait to hear more detail about them in the direct later and also looking forward to hear what the third parties are coming up with.

If I were to hazard a guess, I'll assume that DB 66 hasn't received any changes whatsoever.

Yes it could be and that’s a route I’ve been expecting for a few years, and when East Coastway got a remaster I did think it wouldn’t be long before it appeared. I can’t think of anything else the ticket could be.

I wouldn't mind the West Coastway tbh, yes it's not exactly bursting with life, and is a bit dull like the East Coastway in terms of being one track each direction, but it would add some nice new milage for the 313. A London to Brighton remaster however, done properly, would be fantastic

My local line, would be great to have that although operationally its probably not the most thrilling? Branch to Littlehampton with the depot could add more.

If it was would love it to be set in the 313 era just for more variety. The GWE DMU service from Brighton to Greater Malvern adds another interesting layer to pad out the timetable although we don't have a GWE 158 yet and it was only a few services each day.

Edit: Unless by some miracle we got a historic BR version? In which case I'm there, do it I'll throw all of my money at it.

I commented the same thing under the YouTube video, and they replied telling me no AI footage was used. Apparently it’s heavily edited/enhanced stock footage. I’m choosing to believe them, even though it really does look like AI. Maybe that’s just the aesthetic they were going for some reason.

I think the 313 would just have to feature, it would be silly to keep it away from the bulk of its Coastway services. Almost every train from Brighton to Littlehampton and West Worthing was a 313. And that little siding in the middle of Wsst Worthing would be a nice turnaround move. And as a bonus if we had Bognor and Littlehampton too, even better

After beeing a little underwhelmed at first, I have been thinking about the possibilities the Kassel-Fulda-Würzburg-Nürnberg-Ingolstadt connection will open up. This is going to be an absolute treat with ICE 1, 3, 4 and ICE-T. This three routes DEFINITLY need matching timetables, even if they come in form of TSG gameplay packs or mods. You could even drive freight during night time from Kassel to Nürnberg. I wonder if Nürnberg Freight Yard is included? That would be the icing on the cake

Dovetail riding that Florida/Miami wave eh? I'm sure its no coincidence this route was chosen to coincide with a certain game coming out this year :)

Official 313 201 livery would be really nice too. Get the fairwell railtour added in? Possible ROG 37 layers set when they were taking the 313s out of service? Could get the GX387 layers moving around in Hove too although it wouldn't add much in the way of services?

I was busy during the launch period last year, plus the new content really wasn’t doing much for me, so I waited until the Special Edition was on a heavy sale. That was a great move.

This time around, most of the core routes and locos, as well as the Deluxe content, definitely interest me (although it’s nothing world-changing). But I’m not playing a lot of TSW right now — in fact, I haven’t even gotten around to playing all the Special Edition content I bought like half a year ago.

Plus, GTA 6 is coming just two months after TSW7 and I’ll be spending a decent amount of money on that. When you think about it, spending the price of the full GTA 6 game on just a few more routes and locos (= the deluxe edition) for TSW is entirely disproportionate. I’m going to wait until a hefty sale again probably.

Because it was the most requested route, on par with the Hudson Line. But DTG decided not turning the US region into the NY region yet.

All of that and more. Could do two timetables like the East Coastway. The latest one being all the various iterations of the 387 gracing us with their presence

and we get AI 450s at Havant too

The leading 153 looks like it's in Arriva Trains Wales Livery.

I have to say, I my opinion the 333 being the Deluxe loco instead of the 331 is a little odd.

    Look at previous deluxe locos;
    • Flying Scotsman layers on multiple routes for railtours.
    • Pendolino goes on multiple routes (partly that's because WCML spam)
    • Voyager goes on multiple routes (even this one as AI at Leeds)
The only other place a 333 could go is Doncaster to Leeds, since the 331 is used more widely, it has more opportunity to be used elsewhere

From the Cardiff 142 pack probably. (It puts the unbranded Arriva livery on the 150 and 153 also)

Thanks for that! That makes this route much more interesting. I wonder if the whole "circle line" from Hauptbahnhof to Langwasser to Rbf to Fürth is included or only the line from Fürth?

Not gonna lie I'd be a bit disappointed if this was announced*. As much as I love the Southern Region, do we really need another route with the 377? There are so many more interesting lines in the region that could be made that are of similar length and provide a truly new experience.

*Caveat - would be a great route to introduce some slam-door EMUs but there's no chance they'd do that.

Would this be another route in which a Class 350 could appear as a SWT Class 450 (like we're meant to be getting with the Richmond Extension on Mildmay) possibly even on some short drivable services or is it the 444's that do the Portsmouth Direct services?

Would be nice to have this along with London Commuter and ECW, would open up a possible Three Bridges/Horsham to Ford route in future

I'm looking forward to the stream, but man, I'm disappointed in the core US route.
On one hand, yay, new city, and I've been hoping for Tri-Rail for a little while; on the other, are we seriously only doing half of the route to Boca Raton (let alone the new Downtown Miami Link)? It also doesn't seem like we're getting any long-distance Amtrak equipment...

Wow, these sound amazing. German route very slightly underwhelming and the American route i do not know well but looks good. What i am most surprised about is how many NEW locos there are! a total opposite to what we had last year. Cant wait to see all the rest we have to see in 20 mins.

I’m guessing no unfortunately, since that would include a few more S-Bahn stations east of Nürnberg Hbf, and I already reach the station number mentioned on their website by simply counting all the ones between Nürnberg Hbf and Würzburg Hbf.

Is that “circle” only used by freight/empty services in real life, or can you also travel on it via passenger trains? My best mate works nearby, would be a nice way to explore the area together I guess. ;)

I am personally very happy about the ICE 4, it was a long time since a new, really new, not updated ICE. Nürnberg - Würzburg is alright, but I would have preferred München - Ingolstadt. Also it is via Emskirchen which is well known in Germany ;)

Honestly I'd be thrilled with that. But the chance as you say is very slim!

I think for me WCW would be good to have the 313 which is fantastic. I'm not one for the 377 at this stage either if I'm totally honest :D

If set in 2007 or earlier, yes. SWT used to run Brighton to Basingstoke. It'd also require a 159 or 170 since some services ran to Reading.

a BR version would be nice, but with all of the rolling stock already existing i suspect the cheap option will prevail. still, an exciting time for those of us who are local to the route

I was thinking more Havant to Portsmouth and Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour for the 350's (although I guess you couldn't drive them without 3rd Rail) but I never knew SWT159's or 170's ran to Brighton, despite living in one of the towns on the BML.

yeah, there was a service to bristol from brighton and vice versa. only ran a couple of times a day and was always rammed, as along the west coastway it was a kind of express service; similar to the ashford 170 on ecw

honestly, that is so so poor. Since when did ballast and sleepers reflect light like this? How have they not fixed it?. Such basic stuff.

I remember seeing the GWR services that were done away more recently, I also recall seeing a SWT Class 442 on test before they were moved onto Gatwick Express.

As for TSW7, I'll wait and see what else is coming from 3td Parties, but I'll probably still get the starter pack, I haven't really bought much TSW6 DLC, not helped by crashes while playing on Series S.
