    how to make a gradient like the picture?

    Lay your length of track. In the left hand flyout is an icon that is a simple angle, left click on that and yellow arrows will appear. Left click and hold and move the mouse and a movable arrow will appear. Move that arrow to the end of the track that you want to raise, (or lower). When the movable arrow hits the arrow at that end the arrows turn red. With the mouse raise or lower the red arrow to the height you want. This tutorial will help, it's old but still good.

    Edit; I meant the left hand flyout, not the right. Apologies.
