Hi All I have just stumbled across this route, and have downloaded it but not installed it yet. I just wondered if anyone already has it installed, and what they think about the route ? Is it completely scenerised throughout ? Etc Etc Please post your thoughts ? Thanks Derek
The latest version has a wide network with full scenery if you have all the requirements. It is set in a transitional period with electrics only going as far as Rock Ferry rather than through to Chester and Ellesmere Port. The only issues I have encountered are gloomy lighting at night and in the underground stations which can be fixed with extra ambient light if you wish and a tight curve between Hamilton Square and Rock Ferry causing sets to derail at over 25 mph. Overall it is a really nice route with lots of different commuter and freight options.

It is a wonderful route, I would say that as I helped Mike by testing it and writing a load of scenarios for it. Thanks for the kind words about the route Malmac, Mike will be pleased to hear them, however, as for the tight curve I have never derailed on that corner to be honest.
Hi Horner, I made this route over the last 6 years, Started trying my hand at adding track to an exisitng route and got a bit carried away !! Rikwesson has kindly tested the route over the last few years and made some superb scenario's for it, Its basicaaly set at a time I can remember Chester Northgate station around 1968 and just carried on , I have recently completed the line through to Manchester Central and I am hoping ythat this new section will be available to download in the next few weeks . Probably my bad driving and sharp braking. I think it happened in both directions in a 508 set, but hasn't been an issue since as I stick to 25 mph. I'm pleased to hear the route is still being extended further and it will be interesting to see Manchester Central albeit at a period when it was presumably being run down to closure.
I have now completed adjusting every scenario for what looks like a great route. I have ran the route through RW Tools and located a few assets that are missing. These are not shown missing because they are in an AP Archive as I have excluded all those. I would like some help in knowing where to find the remaining missing assets please. Would anyone be willing to let me send them a copy of the xls report indicating which assets are missing, so they could help me locate them please ? Thanks Derek
I've got this route and some of the scenery and detailing near the track is very nice, I think it's a route which is designed to be viewed from the cab which conceals most of the empty spaces. I did spend a few hours adding some buildings and trees here and there to cover up some more empty areas. The route is an enjoyable drive especially if you enjoy playing the last days of steam along with the new diesels.
