You can keep playing after you complete the monthly challenges. Making the challenges harder just makes life difficult to people with less time available than you.
I’ll probably join you guys and gals later in the month. Having got the (physics modded) Duchess Of Sutherland up and running in TSC, with 15 Matrix P3 coaches on the rear (including some sleeping cars) I’m going on tour, starting with Glasgow to Carlisle. Pretty much beats any experience TSW can offer.
This month's mastery is not that big of a chore. If I had a bit more time today I would have finished it on day one. Plenty of time left to do it this month
In the end I went back and finished it as I felt a bit OCD! Just worked Medway Valley for a bit and that took care of the objectives and accumulated timetable runs.
With a few days to go now until September's mastery, will anyone else be waiting for the release of TSW7 before attempting it? I think I might.
For me after buying a route I liked the challenge of achieving the mastery levels. After achieving them I felt good that I had gotten value from the purchase. I will be less likely to buy marginal routes because of this change.
Nah, I will try to finish it before TSW 7 is released. Hopefully everything will be fine, but you never know if something will go wrong with the launch. I prefer to stay on the safe side and not having to worry.
So hoping for half decent challenge tomorrow. Some distance would good along with something different.

Nice. This month only the training center challenge requires a detour from my regular play. The rest will take care of itself. Decent level of challenge for the second tier.

Do you have Nürnberg-Ingolstadt? It's a bit more efficient (higher average speed) and more fun (IMO).
I have it, but honestly I don't like the 403 in Nürnberg that much, it's constantly making noises, "Störung - Störung" every 2 kilometers. The 403 in Kassel just does its job quietly.
Slightly off topic, but will the new route Masteries not show until full release next Tuesday? If so then that is a bit of a PITA, leaves me with the Training Centre stuff and not much else if I don't want to risk repeating tasks when the Masteries do go live. Ah well, plenty else to be getting on with this weekend, such as the Crazy Taxi: World Tour Closed Network Test.
Cheers for the reminder folks, had completely slipped my mind! A shame, I always enjoyed them personally, especially since we no longer have route specific Achievements.
Is anyone else having trouble with Tier 2 in TSW7? I wanted to save Tier 2 for TSW7; it was counting at first, but then it stopped at some point along the way.
I did all of it in TSW7 with no issues, but DTLive sometimes stops tracking one of the mastery goals for a user. Contact support and they will fix it. I had this problem several times and support always fixed it, at least for that month.
Anyone else notice that it is Training Centre in the Mastery, but Center everywhere else in the game? DTG, please try to at least be consistent!
