With the Bergen Line announced as a DLC for TSW 7, I believe that the F40PH should be included alongside the GP40. F40PH’s have become a rare sight on NJ Transit’s network, with only two left, #4119, and #4120. Both of which have been rebuilt as F40PH-2CAT’s. They’re occasionally seen operating services on their unelectrified lines. So if they’re so rare, why should they be included? Because of their rarity, they are a popular sight among rail fans. Not to mention how iconic the F40PH’s are in general. After all, the Tri-Rail route is doing the exact same thing, by including the F40PH, despite only five being left in their fleet. Additionally, the F40PH-2CAT has already been made for Peninsula Corridor, so it wouldn’t take too much effort to update and remake it for this route. And a little more variety is always welcome! This is a very short and sweet suggestion, but hopefully it’s convincing enough.
Needed by the way some of them are in the Metro-North paint you are more likely to see them on Bergen and Main lines eventually they merge at Glen Rock for Suffern and Port jervis.
