I Would love to see the IC2 / do to last gen and twindex. I just can't see the old dostos anymore.

An updated class 90 and a class 91

I can only speak for Germany because i‘m not into british stuff but for us I think I can clearly name 3 trains that would be an absolute banger and would sell numbers like the ICE 4 will do.

    1. Siemens Desiro HC BR 462/1462/2462/3462 or 4462

    2. IC2 with 146.5 and 147.5 with new Dostos

    3. ICE 3 NEO BR 408

Personally for me it’s both era and stock.

Network SouthEast has been long overlooked both either on DC or AC routes.

As for multiple unit stock, anything really that isn’t quiet and computer heavy. We really need and believe a lot of people want Mk1,2 or 3 derived units for either DC or AC routes, something with a bit of character that pushes immersion to a new level.

Freight wise, probably a Class 50 or a Deltic I’d imagine being high up there on the list.

But I’ll continue to make the argument for some decent sectorisation in the game. We have a couple of nice 80s Intercity routes in game. Let’s get some toothpaste liveries and units on the go!!!

I do wonder what it would be after that. Maybe some C2C route? Or maybe GEML? I really have no clue.

Personally I've had enough of ICE (for now)
I would prefer a BR 120 or an Expert 103 or something regional and diesel: BR 648

I'd also love to see a non-German expert loco.

I'd pay serious money for something like an expert GP38-2 or SD40-2 along with a selection of rolling stock (similar to what they did with the BR145

A modern mainline freight loco would be sweet as well, but the Geeps/SD40-2 are just so versatile- you could drive them appropriately on almost all the US routes

    I reckon the top ten most requested UK locos are;
    1 - Cl. 91
    2 - Cl. 55
    3 - Cl. 56
    4 - Cl. 50
    5 - Cl. 68
With a special mention for the Class 25 in case OldVern is waiting outside school for me.

I assume DTG have a stats geek who collates this stuff. If not, I'm good with spreadsheets and make a decent cuppa. I'm currently being held hostage in the insurance industry, please rescue me.

why not a GP40-2 expert, then? since it’s a loco not included in the more recent TSW titles, I think it would be an interesting addition
just like what was done with the DB BR 145

well, the RailJet will be an Expert release, so I am expecting sth gargantuan and super detailed like 101 and 145 manuals... and they usually release first full version of it ahead of the actual loco/train release so ppl can get into studying it :)

    Here Part 1 and 2:
    - Thats a reduced one for the drivers, just use your prefered slop-machine to convert it from Hungarian into your language.
    - The pic is representing the specific RJ books V2014, about 250-300 Pages, no Upload on that one for obvious reasons.
    - Related to the 1116 there is enough free material online available, even not based on the RJ

In my opinion TSG made a spot on choice for developing actually the Railjet. Its used in different countries and a lot of crossing borders with that one makes the whole thing an experience for it self. I hope we get some more details about that in the future, also if they are gonna make the 3 Panto Version of the 1116.

I will save it and check it out, but I am also curious about the TSG manual, as it streamlines a lot of stuff, also what will be in the game itself :) still, thx :)

It's too soon for that. We usually get the manual around 1 week before release.

Apart from maybe a 90 in InterCity I wouldn't hold breath on the others. The devs act like most of them don't exist.....

To be fair the devs for the most part act like there was no routes in past before 2019, they only do ultra modern routes

Probably highly awaited by uk fans is a backdated london-brighton with the cl.73 / 489 gatwick express.

Same goes for the 442, which maybe do not require significant route changes to match the timeperiode.

A DTG 55 would sound so awful that there would be absolutely no point in them making it. I would actively pay DTG to not make one.

I dunno, DTG used AP sounds for the class 31 and those are some of the best out there. If anyone does take the Deltic on, it would be criminal for it not to be of the highest standard.

DTG occasionally implement AP sounds well, as they did with the 20 and 31, but those were a long time ago. Their more recent attempts have ranged from mid to terrible. It's also worth keeping in mind the AP Deltic sounds are very old and not that great to begin with.
