So long as you don't uninstall TSW6 before installing at least the base TSW7, when you first run the latter it should prompt you to import your profile and information. At least that's how it worked in previous years. Note though it will not transfer across your in game settings, last year I jotted them all down on a piece of paper. What's not clear is whether the Monthly Mastery will roll over from 6 to 7, though that's a relatively minor concern.
It will. My only concern is if DTL will be able to handle all the players playing simultaneously the first few days.
Hi, so does that mean that the completed tutorials, scenarios, timetables and even route collectables will be carried forward? Thanks Fred
Found it odd that they didn't mention that you can import previous profiles this time. I'm guessing it's because since it has been this way for years it doesn't need mentioning. If this is not the case ... Well, don't even want to think about it.
I did have some trouble with TSW5->TSW6 because of some configuration issues with Microsoft OneDrive on PC. It should just work though.
Documents\My Games\[TSW version]\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor You want GameUserSettings.ini You will manually need to select any new settings added in a new TSW version, but it will store all your existing prior ones. I tend to copy it when copying over my Engine.ini
