I have a question for the Roadmap stream, where is the nose camera I recommended in April, that you told me in May was on a list for the development team to develop, and now TSW7 is announced, and STILL no nose-camera to be seen.
Not the same team doing the loco. So doesn't matter. 420 is being worked on again now, 232 next after it got released. No dates by hand. Ready when ready.
No recognition of Bluetooth keyboards on PS5 ? Bluetooth 5.1 mouse ? The B key was working fine for bell, but E should be actual Shift-E to prevent R key accidental 'e' safety systems disasters while driving ! On PC whether Steam, Xbox or Epic Games, E key is the first i remap begore moving Q to NumPad Enter and AWS to HOME key. Accessibility should matter more ! YOU don't hit E when you meant R because you don't have my common physical challenges !
So there will be two more German routes coming up soon, and then nothing for a long time after that.?
That's still better than in TSW6 in my Opinion. In 6, we only have the Core Route Dresden-Leipzig, Stuttgart-Heilbronn and Nuremberg-Ingolstadt. I could imagine that this is the new Standard: one DTG Route ( that isn't Core) and then hoping for a Third Party.
I hope that with the Expert Railjet we will also get a Taurus in Standard ÖBB Livery for Freight, just like with the DB BR 145.
A specific question about NTP remastered if I may? I know 70% of the scenery in the route is being rebuilt but is any of the track being rebuilt/re-laid? I ask because there are a lot errors on the NTP track. A lot of superelevation is missing on certain parts of the route. Part of the problem is I don't think many of the track laying tools that are now available in the editor for modern routes existed when NTP was originally built.
Anyone know if there’s AI traffic happening during freight hauler or is it pretty much dead like free roam? Thanks
With free roam there is also a timetable, because you spawn on foot and place a train and then create a path. I have always ai traffic with free roam
What you’re saying is 50 per cent correct, and 50 per cent applies to the other method. After all, TSW does have Freeroam mode, where you’re completely on your own on the track and there’s no other train traffic. Then there’s Timetable mode, where you can spawn on foot and then place a train or just a locomotive, but in that mode you do have all the train traffic because it’s Timetable mode.
The Neckartalbahn with a German steam loco (BR 23) is exciting. Maybe we could start seeing steam locomotives in game again in the near future, depending on how well the route does. I'd prefer American steam, especially some of the many steam locos that have been preserved and are running in excursion services (Santa Fe 4-8-4s #3751 and #2926, UP Big Boy #4014, UP FEF-3 #844, N&W J #611, SP GS-4 #4449, etc.) We have routes for most of these locos in game. I would love to see some big US steam power, especially Big Boys, Challengers, 4-12-2s, SP Cab Forwards, N&W Class As and Y6bs, DM&IR M3/M4 Yellowstones lugging massive trains of iron ore, B&O EM-1s on Sand Patch, C&O Allegheny's/Virginian Blue Ridges, etc. Also, we should get some Pennsylvania RR steam power (M1/M1a/M1b, T1 Duplex, K4s, I1 "Hippo," L1, J1, S1, Q1 and/or Q2 Duplex, H10, etc. for HSC)
If I buy this I'm guessing none of my downloaded DLC for TSW 6 on PS5 will work, I'll have to download it all again but TSW 7 variant, is that correct? IE 90gb+, plus whatever TSW 7 is
