A new French route suggestion: the Tram Train Ouest Lyonnais (yeah Lyon again). Despite its name, it's a light rail route. I think we don't have enough train variety; we always have the same types of trains (commuter trains, high-speed trains, regional trains) but not enough of subways and light rails. We just have three London Overground routes and one Underground. That's why I made that suggestion I don't know what you'll think about that. The route is 55km long/34 mi with single track (double track between Lyon Perrache and Lyon Gorge de Loup) and has three branches and 23 stations for an exciting journey. It mixes electrified (The branches of Sain Bel and Brignais) and non-electrified lines (Lozanne Branch). Map : Rolling stocks : Citadis Dualis/U 52500 , a tram-train used on many light rails and tram train lines in France, specifically in tram train of Nantes and some of the Parisian trams (T4, T11, T12, T13, T14). X 73500, a "normal" train, which I had already proposed in my suggestion of La Ligne des Hirondelles. Used on the Tassin - Lozanne branch which is not electrified. What's great about this network is that it uses both a tram-train AND a train. Drivable Service : Lyon-Saint-Paul to Sain-Bel : U 52500 , 42 min Lyon-Saint-Paul to Brignais : U 52500, 25 min Tassin - Lozanne : X 73500, 25 min Lozanne - L'Arbresle (+6km) : X 73500 , 5 min it's an extremely short incomplete journey, but I find it interested for to establish a connection between the Lozanne branch and Saint Bel branch. Not mandatory, but it would be a shame not to include it. Possible Extension : Lyon Perrache - L'Arbresle (+31km), with the addition of X 76500 even though there are X 73500s who make this line of the route too. This could give the route a new branch and that would make the Lozanne - L'Arbresle section more relevant because this section comes from this part of the route That would also add the TGV Duplex (Inoui) between Lyon Perrache and Lyon Part-Dieu. In terms of the scenary , it's rural with lots of forest. Cab Ride: Brignais Branch Sain-Bel Branch (Strangely, you can't watch the videos directly on the DTG website, but you can watch them directly on YouTube.) Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything for Lozanne Branch. You can tell me what you think. Peut-être qu'un jour on aura un développeur comme SimExpress qui sortira du contenu français pour TSW. Qui sait. L'espoir fait vivre ! Maybe one day we'll have a developer like SimExpress releasing French content. Who knows...
I know you already mentioned this in one of my suggestions, but I think it's much too long; perhaps St. Lazare to Rouen and Rouen to Dieppe in two separate routes would be more feasible. But even just one French route would be a miracle, given that DTG seems to focus more on route publication than route creation, we must pray for a SimExpress TSW version.
