Smooth motion is not working on xbox pc even though its activated in the nvidia app on global settings because the game does not show up to add to the game list.

You have to add the game, manually, to the Nvidia App as it is not officially supported by Nvidia.

Ok I have tried steam version aswell and the dlss features still do not work. I use a rtx 5080 nvidia app is up to date but still says game does not support game optimisation. Any ideas other games are fine.

It will always say that the game does not support optimisation, because natively it doesn't. You can still turn the option on. Smooth motion is at driver level, not game level. DLSS can be turned on within the game and is working fine

You need to use the Nvidia/AMD performance overlay. The in-game FPS counter will only show your FPS before frame gen.

I have it enabled and nothing works , there is no difference when switching either smooth motion on or off / DLAA / DLSS FSR change between quality or balanced or performance , the FPS stays the same there is no frame gen happening .....

On steam version i have got dlss on dlaa and v sync will not work now either using the games built in v sync or nvidia sync getting sick of this. Spent more time trying to get the game running right.

DLSS/FSR won't improve your frame rate in a CPU bound situation, which is most of the time in a simulator. Performance gains will almost be the same as lowering the Screen Percentage setting in previous games, but with better image quality this time.

Nvidia Smooth Motion is recommended, but unfortunately it's not our technology to support. If you are having problems with the NVvdia App, please reach out to Nvidia Support.

Ok got smooth motion working using method shown in video still cannot get dlss or fsr to work is there a workaround for that? This is for xbox pc. On steam the image is much clearer with dlss on. Compared to xbox pc.

I wonder if it is just a problem with the nvidia app. There are other xbox pc game pass games that register ok with nvidia and can be optimised in their app. For example on my system Forza Motorsport, Forza Horizon 6, Flight Simulator 2024, Warhammer 40,000 Darktide and others are all there any work ok.

I’m not sure what the underlying difference is, but perhaps they expose themselves to Windows / GPU tools in a way that TSW7 could replicate?

I don't suppose it would be possible for the devs to speak with Microsoft or review how the Game Pass version is packaged, to see whether there’s something small that could be adjusted so TSW7 becomes discoverable ok - It would be amazing to be able to use the smooth motion without resorting to the above workaround and perhaps microsoft has some simply change that can get it to work.

Appreciate the team considering looking into this given it works for other games. Thanks
