Usually when units have no gangways, tickets to be checked are confined to the section that you are on. Bug could be train specific.

Well made route, but how could you miss this from the east end of the Platform tower block!

I believe this is because if you don't own the 333, 2x 331 units are substituted for the 333 instead of just single unit 331s. The game doesn't seem to recognise this. Idk if it's the same on other routes where 2 units are coupled together for a service.

played 333 last night... that one little thing with reverser to neutral, changes the whole thing, and I really enjoyed the added bit of challenge <3 ... also, nice acceleration and braking, joy to ride really... and I like the front indicators showing acceleration/braking effort :)

These objects (nettles) appear without textures across practically the entire map, they are just black...

Having come from a stint on OMSI 2 where at each stop it’s . to apply the handbrake, O to disable the mouse steering, / to open the door, left arrow 4 times to bring up the ticket machine then reverse the process before moving off, going in and out of neutral is a mere bagatelle, to use the old cliche!

When stopping at Crossflatts in any service with a Class 331, the stop marker doesn't register, and also the stop marker should be at the end of the platform. Luckily, god mode allows me to bypass this issue. 4678800_43.jpg

Thought I’d try this out of interest and couldn’t even get past the first steps. I opened the local and then all passenger doors and nothing happened, no passengers boarded.

I haven’t really played guard mode at all, so possibly user error… but the objective didn’t progress beyond ‘open the passenger doors’ despite them all being opened. This was on 2H11 on PS5.

Did you have prompts enabled on train simulator driver aka DTG Aussie ambassador on his guard mode tutorial he said something about if prompts either on off one of the 2 this can cause issues with guard mode

Thanks, that was the issue preventing the passenger loading. Although then 7/12 tickets I needed to check before the first stop were in the cars I couldn't access!

Your welcome although there's a wider issue with long 331 consists which because of no internal gangways it's impossible to check tickets on whole train so will be interesting to see if they bother to fix this and if they do how they go about it

Shipley Platform 4, facing towards Bradford. There is a 20 sign at the end of the platform (just ahead of signal L3969) but the speed limit on that track is 30 as indicated by HUD.

Ooops! Looks like Rivet forgot to add any reverb to the structures. Well haven't heard any yet driving the 333 with cab window open.

Another one for the post release remaster, then.

Much like Vern I’ve made the mistake of buying this hoping the positive feedback I’d read would make it worth it.

    Here’s the issues so far:-
    • Class 333 - what’s going on with the doors? Sometimes the conductor opens them. Sometimes they don’t.
    • Bradford to Skipton, not checked down approaching Shipley, didn’t have the route indicator on L3976
    • Level Crossing between Steeton & Silsden and Cononley - car drives through the crossing barriers in front of the train.
    • TSRs still have AWS magnets after the restriction has finished presumably because they can’t differentiate between one direction and another still.
    • Class 331 has no starting bell when the conductor has closed the doors.

The scenery around Bradford Station is very lacklustre. Not even any signage for the station, which I found odd.

Im on PC, yes its not the best but when the rest route is running at around 40-50 fps (pretty smooth for me) then Shipley, specifically if you look in direction of the middle of the triangle it drops to 21 fps, sometimes less than this, if you turn the camera 180 degrees it is back to around 40, same with Leeds it when you look in one direction its 21 fps and after turning the camera 90 degrees its back to almost 50 Zrzut ekranu 2026-09-13 212121.png Zrzut ekranu 2026-09-13 212128.png

Same thing. Looks weird and as the train has driven through mud and got sprayed with luminol at the same time.
Arrived at ~ 18:30. And tried a second time by spawing direct to Leeds by foot.

    And of course: ....
@RivetGames. Overall a really nice route and mades fun to drive, but as expected you came up with these stupid portals again. A shame!

WRT the bridge reverb, driving a little further out from Leeds it now seems to be present.

And probably already mentioned, but what's with the 20 PSR sign at the end of the Down Bradford platform at Shipley coming from Leeds which does not show in the HUD, max permitted speed remains at 30 until rising to 50 a short distance from the station.

While unloading aggregates, the load counter of the wagon goes down to 0 but the wagon is still visually full.

Example: Journey "Airedale and Wharfedale Lines" -> Chapter "Shed Duty" -> Service 6D71 part 6

The colours used on some bits of the interior of the 331 are off - the grab poles & Guard/Door buttons area especially are way too dark and should be the same colour as the poles by the doors. The seat handles should also be a different shade to that in game… although I’m colourblind and can’t see that difference (I’m just told they should be a different yellow).

Some of our 331 units have got that particular screen and font.... Only a very small amount of units have the smaller font, so that's accurate in a way :)

I'm assuming your first two pictures are real life and the last one is the game - if so, and I'm not being funny, but I can't see any differences between the shades of grey and the yellow seat handles, and I'm not colourblind!

What kind of problem could be causing the thresholds to disappear at close range?

    20260914133229_1.jpg

    Does anyone have an idea?

Okay, never mind, it was the "Effect Quality" setting; I had it on "Medium." Here’s how it looks now on "High":

    Hello all,

Just to share some thoughts and feedback, specifically around traction physics and more technical aspects. I'll preface this by saying I approached DTG directly, who asked me to come in here and give feedback - so none of this is intended as being critical!

I started my railway career driving Class 333s and later Class 331s, along the Leeds Northwest triangle - so this route is very close to home for me. Just to caveat, however, I have since moved to another operator, so my memory may not be 100% correct on all items. I'd like to start by saying the Class 333 is incredibly well done, the attention to detail (for instance, not being able to operate the doors if not in neutral) is really nice and I can't praise the developers enough for this unit, it's really superb. The Class 331 is also nice in some ways - the TCMS interactivity is really nice and I was pleasantly surprised to see functionality with the snow brake etc.

So, with this generally positive feedback in mind, some areas perhaps for a little refining:
    Class 333
    • When the brake is placed to step 2 (initial brake application) you can hear a "click click". This is the HVAC dampeners closing. This should not occur when the dynamic brake is isolated (but is correctly modelled under normal operation, superb job!)
    • When getting into the unit, company instruction is to isolate the dynamic brake, so the unit should be found with the dynamic brake isolated as standard
    • The unit occupied message on the TCMS is only displayed in the remote cab, it means a key is in the other end, so shouldn't appear in the drivers cab
    • Neutral section functionality - the 333 is a bit weird when it goes through a neutral section. Firstly, it's rare for the line light ever to go out, but you always lose your VCB light immediately. You loose power for about 6-7 seconds (the trains 1995 computer brain takes a bit of time to work out what is happening before it lets you take power again) and you loose the VCB light for about 3-4 seconds. An attempt to take power during this time can trigger an alarm on the TCMS. Further, if you apply the brakes into/through a neutral section, the unit makes quite a noticeable jolt as the dynamic brake stops working as the APC pulls out the VCB and the standard disk brakes kick in. This happens almost instantly, but you do notice an almighty jolt through the train. This doesn't always cause a CPBC alarm but again, sometimes it will give a loss of dynamic brake fault (think that was the wording). It's a really unique and charismatic feature of the 333 so it would be nice to see some of this implemented.

    Class 331
    • Crucially, the brake is way over powered on the 331. They are great on the brakes (not quite as good as the 195) but they don't come down quite as rapidly as simulated (especially at the top end). As a guide, 24mph at the start of a 4 car platform should see it land at the end with a consistent application of around 40-50% brake (best recollection there - the braking characteristics are very different between 195 and 331 and I can't fully remember my 331 technique as I drove these a lot less than the 195)
    • The power/brake arc on the TCMS isn't dynamic. As the train speeds up and slows down, the numbers don't change. That arc is a direct read of the position of the CPBC, it shouldn't be changing unless you change the power setting
    • The head/tail light indication disappears from the TCMS above about 2mph. It's a massive bug bear for crew and would be great if it stayed up (as per in the sim), but it doesn't in real life
    • The RBT button would be nice to function. All it does is disengages the dynamic brake for a running brake test. It detects the brakes being applied and turns itself off after one brake application
    • On taking power, the holding brake will make a distinctive set of sounds as it blows off in sequence allowing a smooth start away. It's very audible from the cab and can be heard clearly here: Speediest Class 331 acceleration ive ever seen - would be lovely to have this in.
    • The CPBC should be left (and found) in the zero position, not full service brake. Having it anywhere other than zero would actually cause quite a lot of issues for the units, especially when moving through different states (eg: Sleep/shut down).

    Route
    • Line speed approaching Shipley South Jn in the up direction is 20 both ways, not just into plat 5
    • The starting signal on platform 3 at Shipley should display U or B (Up or Branch). It didn't give any route indication for the mainline route when I drove through there last night
    • The Leeds Liverpool canal is such a significant feature, it'd be really nice if we could have lock gates, especially at Kirkstall Forge where it's really visible from the cab
    • (To be super pedantic) The flats to the left of Whitehall Jn at Leeds are brand new and quite distinctive. As modelled in the sim, they look a bit 1960s council-estate, as a Leeds resident I'd love it if the world could see my home city in all it's glory, rather than having a sim version that makes it look a bit, erm, rough around the edges!

That's it for now, though no doubt I'll find a few more things and pop them in this thread. A really lovely job in all though and I'm really enjoying the route!
Also, just reading this thread, I would like to say the audio is generally cracking, especially the 333 - I feel there's a lot of critique from armchair experts here, because as someone who spent a good few years in one of those units, I couldn't tell that the bogie or run sounds were from a 390. People don't seem to realise that, at least in the cab, the loudest and by far most noticeable noise is either wind or air con.

Finding 1D19 gets held at a red outside Shipley that never changes. On XSX so this is just with the “out of the box” layers.

As per above - the Class 333 must be placed to neutral or the doors can't be operated by the guard - this is true to real life.

Yes, yesterday, I had to reverse for the 3 wagons that weren't completely full.

Azuma service 1D26, as I left Leeds platform 6 gave a TPWS overspeed and slammed the brakes on my train. I was doing 14 in the 15, so I think the grids that trip you at 12mph on the way IN to the platform are currently tripping on the way OUT. I assume this affects any service in platform 6, but haven't verified this yet.

I had assumed the Class 331 brakes were way overpowered so its good to hear from someone in the know above, would be great for them to be toned down. I am still sad that I find the 350 undriveable now since they made the brakes ridiculously powerful.

There seems to be no hill start keybind (usually L2) which means you have to use your cursor to press it and the throttle when moving off from a hill start.

Are the TPWS grates bidirectional usually? When coming out of Leeds I got emergency stopped for going 15mph while leaving the platform heading towards Bradford Forster Square. I thought usually the TPWS would get you if it caught you doing more than 8mph coming into a platform or close to a red signal? Happened on the 333 on timetable service, PS5 pro.
