On Xbox SX - Saving the amount of layers you want to use on a route resets to full layers again once you restart the game.
    Please fix this soon!

Strange isn’t it, i was pulling into London Paddington in a 165 when the texture became blurry about 1.1 km away from it, but it fixed by itself when I got about 600m away from the station, where all of the HSTs load in.

Conductor/guard mode on the 331 has a lot of bugs.
    • After unlocking the local door the UI prompts to press the red door release button. After pressing the door release, although the doors open, the UI still prompts to release the doors (does not acknowledge that doors are already released. This means can't see any prompts on how long to wait/when to depart.
    • When departing, after pressing the blue door close/lock button the doors usuallu close. Then when turning key to mid position (buzzer) the local door closes correctly but the train immediately sets off even though the green signal buzzer button has not been pressed
    • On double car 331s passengers with tickets are often in the other (inaccessible) half of the train and unreachable.
    • On double car 331s the panels sometimes only operate the doors on 1 car of the train (the one that the panel is in)
    • Ui markers sometimes prompts to open the doors on the wrong side of the train and wont progress to next step if operating the correct side instead.
    • The stuck UI prompts mean that it does not inform how many tickets to check
    • Often no tickets to check on a whole route despite passengers getting on/off
These problems happen even with AI conductor turned off.

The Ai conductor doesn’t seem to work if you start another service straight after finishing one ( without exiting to the menu ) . I arrived at Ilkley from Leeds , changed cabs , and the AI conductor was unable to close the local door . This happened at every stop on the way back to Leeds , and I had to walk to the local door to manually close it using the guard panel. This is with ai conductor on realistic on pc / steam .

PC Steam. First a huge positive; the epic settings and new lighting are superb if you've got the horsepower. On my PC (Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 4070 TI Super, 64GB RAM) I've only done one run so far, but I picked a demanding one in Birmingham to Crewe - with Nvidia Smooth Motion and DLAA, I can maintain my TSW6 setting of 45fps locked in game, getting 90fps, with only some drops in fps in demanding areas. And that was on a first run so shaders were being cached, with everything turned up to Epic apart from Sky Quality (left that on Very High). I'm basically getting the same performance fps-wise, with much better visual fidelity (flickering and pop-in now virtually nil), so I'm very happy there.

Now the not-so-positive. I'll add my name to those calling for a dark mode UI. The new UI is just too bright with white and grey text among a grey background. "Investigating if we're able to support a darker UI menu option" is not good enough, it's an accessibility basic requirement after moving from a dark UI to a light one, to make sure that those with visual impairments are supported. My eyes get tired more quickly with brighter backgrounds, thanks to some laser eye surgery a couple of years ago, so for me it's not a 'nice to have'.

The track monitor looks awful now with the 'Distance' box overlapping it. I get that the default font size had to be increased for Steam Deck certification, but could we have the option to reduce the font size? And in any event, move the 'Distance' box to the left so that it doesn't overlap? Similarly, the size of the objective marker in the game world could do with a font resizing option, as it is also bigger than before.

Also on UI: in TSW5 we lost the clockface timer in the normal HUD, and instead were forced to use the barber's pole from the minimal HUD. I've never liked the barber's pole, so could we please have a choice of timer? There could be options of, say, a barber's pole, clockface and a digital countdown.

Basically, a lot of my feedback is about choice. Design choices never please everyone, so why not give us more choice in how the UI looks? I play World of Warcraft a lot, and they've found a way to let people customise their screen for size and position of each screen element.
