Annoying Re-downloading All Stuff Every Year With Every New Version

I don't see the point of cancelling the download unless you're just impatient.

 

Unless you are wanting to have TSW6 and 7 installed for use at the same time why would you bother letting it finish?

 

You should read his post again, because what he writes does make sense.

 

I guess there is some degree of chaos to be expected the first day or so of a new game being out. I wonder how many people have unwittingly paid full price for the TSW7 version of an add-on because they haven't realised the older version is discounted. I bet they've made a nice bit of money off of people not noticing things like that.

 

This made me realise I set TSW6 add-ons installing instead of the TSW7 versions

EDIT: This was add-ons I bought in the sale as TSW6 versions and just nonchalantly let them start the process rather than not downloading them and going to the TSW 7 version.

 

Ironically, MS are cutting back on streaming offerings, because they can't afford to support it.

 

There aren't many places with the infrastructure to support streaming gaming either right now. Internet connections could still do to be a little faster.

Yes, but we will be the ones who pay (and it's not going to be cheap) for that 'service' when the only option left is streaming. It's just a matter of time when the infrastructure is there.
