I don't know if it's just me experiencing this, but I've noticed on the Class 802, Class 333, Class 331 and fair amount of rolling stock appears to have a matte look surface texture on rolling stock/liveries from most angles, it only seems reflective from very close up or from particular angles, but for the most part it is a very dull non reflective matte effect which I can't unsee now... Has this always been the case and have I only just began to notice it? Or was this something that was changed during optimisation work? It doesn't appear to be present on PC, and only consoles. Is there a reason this happens on console? Is it necessary? Or is it simply just the limitations of Gen9? As I've said, I've only noticed it recently, but I'm fairly sure we had reflective and realistic textures on liveries and rolling stock in the past? I may be wrong, but I'd be interested to know if I'm the only one that's noticed it.
Thought I'd give this one last bump to see if anyone knows the answer to my question! If not I'll leave it here.
On Riviera line TSW6, I noticed the Class 150 also has a matte look, while irl they look more shiny. So I don't think it's new and don't know why it's done this way. Performance?
