Please keep all discussions related only to feedback, and include the game platform you are using in any comments. Off-topic messages might be deleted or moved to the appropriate threads. Make sure to also check our extensive TSW 7 Support Pages, which include solutions to many common issues. When providing feedback, please always add the following details if possible: Platform (i.e.: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S) Service/Scenario played when the issue occurred. Repeatability. How often does this issue occur? Images/Videos of the issue occurring. Here are a few examples of how to best provide feedback and what to avoid: Helpful issue reports "PC (Steam), Service XYZ, the AI train at X remained stationary, blocking the route. This has happened 3 out of 3 attempts. Screenshot attached." "Xbox Series X: The station announcement audio at Y is much quieter than other stations. I've noticed it on multiple services." "PS5 - Passengers do not board at Z Station. I was able to reproduce this every time." Positive feedback (also welcome!) "PC: Really enjoying the scenery between A and B. The route looks fantastic, especially at sunset." "PS5: The train handling feels great, and the services are a lot of fun to drive." "The ambient audio around the stations is excellent and really adds to the atmosphere." Less helpful feedback "It's broken." "Fix this." "The route is bad." "Game crashed." (without any details about where, when, or how it happened) The more details you provide, whether reporting an issue or sharing something enjoyable, the more helpful your feedback will be to the team. Have to agree with the upcoming signals being shown and have to say add the upcoming speed changes too. I think kids would love these simple controls but speed and signals need to be added (even if they can be ignored) to add a sense of realism before moving up to more advanced controls. Thanks.
Adding my voice to the requests for HUD signal indications and upcoming speed-limit changes to be available when using Beginner Controls. Also, on PC, the Beginner Controls keybinds currently appear to be fixed. They can’t be remapped and they don’t respect the user’s global/custom control bindings. Thanks.
Just returned to TSW having become disillusioned by glitchy graphics and (for me) increasingly complex loco operation. I have been really impressed by TSW7 and the Beginner controls and have tested out a run on all of my 54 routes using the timetables and beginner controls throughout. I share the views on the HUD and offer the following comments on issues I have experienced on my PC: Morristown Line: running any scenario, from any start point using the Arrow III, the route loads then the whole programme crashes. The only crash experienced I have to say. London Underground Bakerloo Line: constant hissing from the train that will not stop. Electostar and Capitalstar Units: there appears to be problems with using AI to operate the doors. I have experienced the following: Class 375/9 on the South Eastern High Speed route. The doors open, but will not close, even if you try the traditional tab unlock door control. Class 350/1 on WCML South route. Doors don't open at all. Class 378 TFL on Midmay Line. The doors open, but will not close, even if you try the traditional tab unlock door control. Class 710 TFL on Gospel Oak to Barking Route. Doors don't open at all. Class 3477 and Class 387 on London Commuter Route. The doors open, but will not close, even if you try the traditional tab unlock door control. Others may have already spotted this, but thought I would mention it just in case.
I haven’t tried to use simple controls on a route yet, only in the test center. I was planning to use it for driving steam trains, but if the signal info and speed limits are not showing on the track monitor than it’s no use. Hope this gets fixed quickly.
PS5. So after today's patch when using beginner controls there is still no signal or speed change information on the track monitor. Even with everything on in the settings still no information. I was on spirit of steam route. Timetable service.
