Why does AI conductor sounds only one long buzz before departing on UK routes? Maybe I'm wrong, but as far as I know in real life it sounds two buzzes.
I tried Medway Valley with the 375 and the conductor gave one on the bell then a few seconds later 2, had this on some other units too, something not right.
It was explained on the stream that a single buzz is for doors closed, but guard's door still open, followed by a double buzz when all doors are closed. I have no idea whether this is prototypical (my local line has driver controlled doors).
Ok did not see that but its not prototypical in UK if conductor close doors, if driver closes doors but conductor checks doors all clear then there is whats called 10 bells/buzzers with 1-2 to close, dvr acknowledge 1-2 when they shut doors then conductor gives 2 when their door shut and train ready to depart which dvr acknowledges. 1 = Stop 1-2 = Close Doors (Power Doors) 2 = Ready To Start 2-2 = Do Not Open Doors 3 = Set Back Of course it would be great with loco hauled stock where there is no bell/buzzer if you had a picture of a green flag on the screen meaning ready to depart.
Even then, half of the time I feel like that isn't how it works in TSW. Sometimes it will only give me two buzz, sometimes only 1 buzz, sometimes both, sometimes 2 buzz and then 1 buzz. Its really scuffed. Should have expected this from DTG, but it was really the only feature I cared about from TSW7.
I find it annoying how they cannot implement such a simple feature. Guard opens doors, guard closes doors, 2 buzzes on the buzzer. Did they test it at all?
I played east coastway yesterday there was a buzzer on the 170 when the doors were closed and also there was a bell in the 375 on Medway Valley
