PC Tsw Tracker: Track Your Progress In Tsw

144 route task southeastern high speed extended, not 100!!!

Well maybe because TSW3 added more to the new stations between dartford and ashford

Just wanted to say, I've put way more hours into TSW3 than I ever would have if not for this tool - thanks!

I am, I guess you could say a "completionist" (which is a word and term I never knew existed) as I always try to figure how much of each route/loco I complete, so this tool is handy and it looks professional. I just got a Chromebook yesterday and it seriously looks like a professional website with charts.

Unfortunately, I lost my original profile and had to start from scratch, so I decided to complete the DLC's and locos in the release order (PC version).

That leads me to my point: almost done with Sand Patch Grade (just Powering America Part 1 and Y109 timetable, neither of which have been fixed) and also on Great Western Express.

If I could say 2 things:

If you can, try to update how many there is in each category. There's 342 services in GWE, not 339, although that may have been added after the update. It's just a way to keep it accurate.

The bigger point is that you should have training in there instead of achievements. Training is actually in the game alongside Journey, Services/Timetable, Collectibles and Scenarios whereas Achievements aren't. I doubt many players even pay attention to those or know which is for what route. If you could add this, that would be great.

Please don't take this as criticism. I'm just giving my opinion on what I think would help the tool grow.

Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it. The service totals being wrong could depend on the platform you say you're playing on, as I am not able to check all other platforms for their service counts. It can be different. I am planning to implement a "report an issue" form on the website so that people can submit corrections.

Having training instead of achievements... I hear you. And you're not the first person to suggest this. I designed this site for personal use at first, and achievements are important to me. And training is almost always included in the Journey Mode, so you're still earning progress. But it is something I will continue to think about. Maybe I will add training as a new category to track. However, this will get a bit more difficult now that new routes and loco DLCs in TSW3 are including their training modules in the Training Center, and not in the route themselves.

Again, thanks for your comments and suggestions. Keep on tracking!

Hey!
The website is good and has helped me but I want to delete my account from your website but I can't find somewhere to do it..

Noticed over the weekend that there was a discrepancy between the number of services on SEHS vs what's on TSW Tracker (there are fewer on the tracker than in-game). I'm guessing that will all the layers it's becoming very hard to align everything, and it could be due to the new 700 services or something, but just thought I'd raise it.

I think it is to do with the layers and remember TSW3 SEHS is an extended version that's why my collectables are at 100/100 on the tracker but, 144/100 on the game.

Hi, happy user of the site over the last years, thanks for hosting it and adding new features even a few years down the line.

I do have a few open ended suggestions though given how much the game has grown over the years and how ever further I think most people will be from ever truly being able to complete the game.
I already use the feature to hide/filter DLC that I don't expect to play anytime soon, either cause I've lost interest, or the quality is just not up to par to what's been released more recently, and that does help reduce the "game completion" required a bit. However I think it would be nice to change what we track with that big progress bar, maybe it could be journey mode completion, or even just some goals we choose ourselves (like x% or #% of services for a given route).
Or maybe have a sub total that doesn't count the number of services completed, as of all stats, that is the one that is basically impossible to complete for many routes. A rough estimate for BML of an average of 30minutes x 1454 services, would mean a entire month of playing 24/7 without pause to complete all services!

The total completion is still a fun number to look at and compare on the leaderboard (which could be enhanced with comparing a few others stats maybe? As well as ignoring the players filtering settings to not remove progress they've chosen to hide personally). But for an individual player with a lot of DLC, I feel being able to have some more realistic goal presented prominently would be more actively useful.

But this is also my personal preference, and I would be curious as to what others may think!

Hi, I have a question regarding the PS5 page of the TSW tracker. There, a lot of data is not up-to-date. Is this still updated or not ?

Hi, will this be updated for Boston Framingham and Preston Carlisle?
Thank you, I love the website

Please let me know if you need any help with gathering data from the latest DLCs - I really love using the TSW Tracker!

Howdy!

I just tried logging in to add to my progress and this error came up. Just thought i'd let people know so the relevant person can try to sort it out!

Cheers
Ethan

I've tried contacting chrisvazquez7 both here and on Discord, but there's no answer. I hope he's okay, and it's only that he's lost interest.

Yeah, same here. I've resorted to setting up a google sheets instead to replicate it, with a few changes to make it work to my liking. It's a shame really, cause I really enjoy using TSW tracker as well.

Maybe that's a good idea, I will find some time to do the same. I know many TSW players don't care about this kind of thing, but TSW Tracker turned me from a very casual player into somebody that buys all the DLCs and plays a lot.

Same here!

Hi, is there any chance you could share this with me? This would be great for me too

Really hope that he’s ok and hopefully this can pick up again, it is such an amazing tool!

It seems to be the case that TSWmania is owned by the same guy. That hasn't updated in a while too. It has great guides on the route tasks.

Yup, the same person that put loads of collectibles guides on Steam as well.
I really hope he's okay.

Some good news, folks - I've heard from Chris that he's fine, jus unable to do anything at the moment. But he hopes to be back to updating TSW Tracker and TSWmania in the next month or so

Oh awesome, that's brilliant news. Glad he's alright.

Seems like the certificate has been renewed, you can access the site now.
https://tswtracker.com/
No new updates with TSW5 addons yet.

It would definitely be helpful (not sure how realistic it would be to implement) if you could reset all your data and start from scratch to enter your data as the initial input. I was hasty to view the different parts of it and skipped the initial input part so now when I go to a mass input, it looks like I've managed to go from level 1 to 600 in 1day.

I've just been on TSW tracker and it's been updated for some of the newer TSW5 DLC. Looks like he is updating it this weekend.

The following DLC has been added:

• Metrolink F59PHR

• Mittenwaldbahn

• Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn

• TSW5 Gameplay Packs

• WCML: Preston - Carlisle

• MBTA: Boston - Worcester

Is there somewhere to donate? Even just a cup of coffee. Very grateful for this tracker.

Can Cardiff City Network be added to this? Am happy to provide numbers ect if needed!

It's just been added if I'm not mistaken. Impressed to see it being updated so quickly.

Is the website still working? I have been trying to register for months and I get this message, "A fatal error occurred while processing your request. The details have been sent to our technicians.
Please try again by refreshing the page. If the error persists, you may contact our support team.
We apologize for the inconvenience."

It still works fine for me.

Works here too. Even gets updates frequently for newly released content.

Just tried to register. Same exact error.

Hello, indeed, it seems that there are still some issues with the site.
Sincerely, tof

Weird - it's working fine for me.

EDIT: You might have more luck contacting "chrisvazquez7" who created the website on the TSC Discord.

Thanks for the info. Personally, I'm really looking forward to TSW6, but I just wanted to see what was being said and what my account was like when I was still on TSW4.
Sincerely, tof

Is TSW Tracker down? Can anyone access it?

This is all I see:

I see the same thing. Also can't access the TSW Tracker.

Same issue for me. Tried from other browsers also. Hopefully gets sorted as I use this a lot.

I was unable to access for days, i tried earlier today, still didn't work, but it looks like it's back up now !

Can confirm, after being down for days, the page is finally up and running again.

Haha, oh boy. Sorry for the radio silence everyone! I've been busy at work making a brand new version of TSW Tracker that has the entire Train Sim World catalog (every route, every journey event, every service, every train) in the backend, allowing you to track the actual services you've completed. I know that sounds like a lot of work, so I also made a companion Windows application that will automatically sync your progress. It will sit in the background and listen to your save file, and as soon as you complete a service or collect a collectable, the website will know! Unfortunately this is only available for PC players, but if you're on console, you can still show completion manually.

I've just opened up the beta to existing users, but seeing as how registration was broken on my old site for a while (I had no idea, sorry!), I'm opening it up to anybody that would like to try it out. Just be aware that the site is still under active development and there may be some features that don't work yet. If you would like to try out the beta, go to https://tswtracker.com/beta/. If you have an existing TSW Tracker account, log in with your existing username and password. You can download the Windows app in the user settings once you've logged in.

The underlying data will also be used in a future overhaul of TSWmania, so have an eye for that too!

For now, I'll leave you with some screenshots of the new site. Thank you for the ongoing support! Have a great day!

I've tested the beta version and like it a lot. So far I haven't found anything that doesn't work. Thank you very much!

the arrows on the right mean you can click on those and see details of completion of said service?

No, it's a play button. When you click that you set that service to be your "Current Activity". Then you have the option to click Complete when you're done. The play button's designed to be clicked just before you start the service, and then you end the Current Activity when you're done. If you use the Windows companion app, all of this is automatic. Also, I should note that you can click Edit at the top of the page, and it will allow you to mass-complete services instead of doing them one-by-one.

This is what completed services look like. If you use the Sync app, it will get your top score and calculate the medal. But if you complete things manually, it will be a green checkmark.

I've downloaded the companion app, it doesn't seem to be accepting the save data though.

I go the file path: Documents\My Games\TrainSimWorld7\Saved\SaveGames\01234567890123456 then select the PP_ file and I just get a message saying "This file does not appear to be a Train Sim World save file."

Not much of a help, but that exactly what I did. I chose PP... file that way and everything worked perfectly. Hope you can get help from someone else because it's a fantastic tool for someone who likes statistics, like me.

Scratch that, I've just managed to get it working by trying again with the game open. All good!
