Route Florida Tri-rail: Miami Airport - Boca Raton - Feedback Thread

Anyone else feels like your playing in slow motion sometimes on this route.

 

No alertor sounds in cab on the CSX GP38 2 have to watch for the red blinking light to flash on the digital speedometor box top right above the control stand.

 

Is just me or are sd40 brakes really bad takes forever to stop even a low speed. Also would there be anything else DTG could add to this route like extra locos/jobs. Because this one of those routes that once all jobs are done i will uninstall it and forget about it. I know it has freight hauler thats no interest to me. Thanks for any replies.

 

Train 609. Cabcar has "Not in service" status and ai-cunductor doesn't open the doors on it. Two other cars indicate 609 - Miami Airport.
Is it supposed to be like this, or is it a bug?

 

Whats the point of making this siding if you can’t enter it???? Like theres literally rail cars in the sidings and everything. Also so many randomly placed down tracks where it looks like the switches weren’t put in. As a huge freight guy got all excited about these extra sidings and I cant even access them

 

The DURAMAX rock hoppers do NOT spawn in loaded with Rock/Gravel correctly in Free Roam after selecting (Loaded DuraMax Hoppers). The actual rock texture do not appear inside the car making it appear empty everytime

 

This looks like the area that Matt said would be "added in" at a later time. As you have observed, however, it is currently out of bounds. So will it ever be accessible, and why wasn't it available at launch? I can't answer that, but what I can say is that, when I was running freight hauler, I was glad that this area is inaccessible. So perhaps DTG will fix freight hauler first, before making more areas for cars to spawn.

 

Thank you. I haven’t gotten into Freight Hauler. I prefer to move around the other trains during timetables. From what I read the new mode is… chaotic.

 

The light blue tri-0rail cabcar does not work with the Raildriver but the dark blue cabcar does. I just ran services with both. The Alerter is no0t set up in either, hence no safety points.

Safety systems for the rotem car and f40ph are working and scoring correctly.

 

How do you enable them? I have test it but it still gives 35 points instead of 65....

No its not working. I have only ATC cut out and nothing with the Alerter. So there is no message about this point and only SHIFT+ENTER works.

Edit; CTRL+ENTER is the key combi

 

I play with safety systems automatically turned on and ut works like that.

 

Yeah i have them enabled as well so there is something wrong.... Are you sure you earn 65 points and not 35?

 

Yea i finished the job I scored 450 for using safety systems i used the dark blue rotem car.

 

Do you earn every time score 65 points then? You should score 65 normaly

 

I earn 65 or 33 but before update today it was 35 or 17.

 

Yeah very clear they did not upload the correct version to steam. I have send DTG Alex a personal message about this issue. So for the steam version its the wrong file.

 

The ATC cut out switch should be cut in TMS should set to normal.

 

Thats not the case when i set it to active it does nothing

 

Yea they sent the wrong build out for steam then by the sound of it.

 

In the Rotem cab you now can hear the BL36PH at the rear passing over the rail joints, as if you were inside the engine cab.
Okay, I get it now: the sounds in this DLC are cursed, and it’s only going to get worse from here.

Also can any locals confirm that all passengers from Miami Airport go exclusively to Hialeah Market?
Because in this game, absolutely EVERYONE get off at Hialeah Market.

And the cherry on top: it’s a clear signal, in case you didn’t know.

 

I don’t know it must be me hearing wrong or that BL36PH Inside Cab sounds like a lot of skipping when you go on high on Notch 8. It’s like a tick sounds and repeats the same sound over again

It could be a locomotive transfer to another station or the depot, a HEP failure, or a test run. That’s in real life, though. In the game, it’s probably a transfer.

 

Anyone played CSXT L788-06 Deerfield to fort lauderdale with the GP38-2 CSX at 00.07. Soon as you press get started instaned derailment. This on xbox series x. dtg_jan

 

Concerning the recent patch notes for Tri-Rail:

• All platforms now have 3 and 4 car stop points

This does not seem to be the case, at least not on Series X. Very few platforms actually got the stop points. This is what I have noticed:

Deerfield Beach: 2, 3, and 4 car stop points, but Southbound only
Ft. Lauderdale: 2, 3, and 4, Southbound only
Hollywood: 2, 3, and 4, Southbound only
Opa-locka: 2 car, only, on the Southbound side. There is another 2 car marker on the Northbound side, but it faces the wrong way, and is directly across from the SB marker, so probably not in the correct location either.
Metrorail Transfer: 2 and 3 only, and only on the Southbound side

No other platforms got the markers for stop points at all. Very poor showing here.

In regards to the alerter for the F40, it now activates if you have safety systems defaulted to on. However, the only way to see it come on is by using the Normal HUD; I did not see any other indication in the cab, and it didn't make any sound at all.

 

Is it even possible to get any medal in mic drop scenario?? Also at miami Airport why are tracks 3 and 4 never used.
