TS Rail Subscription Update: Into the City

There’s even more for Train Simulator Classic Rail Subscription players this October!

Our latest seasonal update is Into the City, bringing three fantastic commuter routes to the Rail Subscription and taking you into the heart of three very different cities: London, New York and Hamburg.

From today, Rail Subscription players can take on the busy tracks of the South London Network, experience the hustle and bustle of the Long Island Rail Road, and explore Germany’s second-largest city aboard the Hamburg S-Bahn.

The Rail Subscription includes Train Simulator Classic itself alongside a curated collection of routes and locomotives, with new content added through regular seasonal updates.

Full information on TS Classic Rail Subscription is here

Head into the capital with the South London Network, bringing together some of the busiest railway lines south of the River Thames.

Linking London Victoria and London Bridge with routes through locations including Denmark Hill and Crystal Palace, the network offers plenty of intensive commuter running through the heart of South London. Take control of the Class 456 and Class 375 ‘Electrostar’ and keep passengers moving across this complex urban railway.

Long Island Rail Road: New York – Hicksville

Cross the Atlantic and head for the Big Apple with the Long Island Rail Road: New York – Hicksville route.
Take charge of the M7 EMU across more than 45 route miles of this famous commuter network, connecting New York City terminals including Penn Station, Atlantic Terminal and Long Island City with destinations across Long Island. With more than 30 stations and busy operations centred around locations such as Jamaica and Hicksville, there’s plenty to keep you occupied on the road out of New York.

    Hamburg S1 S-Bahn

Finally, head into Hamburg aboard the distinctive red trains of the Hamburg S1 S-Bahn.

Take control of the DB BR 474 Plus on the 45 km S1 route from Wedel through Hamburg Hbf to Poppenbüttel and Hamburg Airport, tackling the frequent stopping services of one of Germany’s great urban rail networks. The add-on also includes the Hamburg-Lübeck Railway and a selection of additional DB traction, giving you even more German railway action to explore.

Your Next Journey Awaits From the packed railway corridors of London, to the unmistakable commuter operations of New York and the rapid-transit network of Hamburg, the October Into the City update adds three very different urban railway experiences to the Train Simulator Classic Rail Subscription.

And with the Train Simulator Classic Autumn Sale also underway, there’s even more to explore across the world of TSC.

Wherever you choose to drive, we hope you enjoy the journey!

Don't buy *Long Island Rail Road: New York – Hicksville*; there’s an issue with completing the scenarios. Even with a good score, you don't get the corresponding medal; I checked the `career.xml` file, and it records the status as "CompletedFailedConsist" for the scenarios. I’m going to try to figure out what’s going on—I know how to work around it, but the customers who buy my computers have no idea; they just want to drive their trains without having to edit some damn file just to force a medal unlock.

I remember operating the M7 and M3 EMUs years ago very well, and I never had this problem.
