Agree with the previous posters. Looks nice and sounds great but as someone playing on console I think I've had enough of TSW until some meaningful optimisations and updates get implemented.

Had a good session earlier on bus bound, started from scratch in construction simulator, GTA coming up soon along with the new DLC for Cairn. Once I'm bored with those and caught up with the backlog of games I keep meaning to play I'll check back in to see if the console edition is any better.

Not getting my hopes up in anticipation though.

Open Omsi is absolute stunning. Its a complete new game with a stunning stable fps and the image quality is also impressive. Maps like Thüringer Wald are smooth like butter with stable 60fps. And yeah the team is very quick but they use full AI to creating the scripting code. This type of AI is very helpfull and can support the developers in a way more accurate manor.

You can see in this picture what going on... Mindblowing whatch the yellouw peak on the right side of the picture..... This picture show the information from 2013 with the release......

I noticed the railtours (e.g. the 45) weren't there when you showed the new timetable. Is this a result of not having those addons on the machine you demoed on?

Did they show details of the new timetable. I've watched the stream and didn't see it. I wondered if as it was a new timetable the 90 might have been included but I assume not as we would hear about it.

MML timetable looked really good with the amount of Class 170 services, should be a great addition and worth getting the Class 70 alone, definitely a much needed loco in TSW!

As far as I know, Matt always has installed all add-ons, so more likely those railtours are not included with the new timetable.

Couple of observations from me, with the caveat that it still looks like a solid DLC.

1: flickering headlights as brought up by Matt on the stream.
2: Wagon buffers don't seem to compress.
3: Loco and wagons all with 1ft gap between buffers, they should be touching.
4: GSMR doesn't even show headcode as illustrated by Matt.
5: Questions by several people about what it will connect to (locos/rolling stock) were avoided. Railtours were mentioned but there's no services for one and questions about will they connect to JT carriages were not answered.

Was the flickering headlight a core issue? Didn’t/doesn’t the 66 have an issue where they don’t appear on from the exterior camera until you’re close? I only mention that because as they zoomed out the flickering stopped?

Looked excellent to me, will buy most definitely, but I'm wondering if the brakes took too long to release? Hopefully that's a realistic trait.

The brake mode was wrong in the preview. Watch the left screen and you will noticed it was set to passenger mode. You have to set this manually to "goods" instead of "passenger" mode.

I hadn't spotted that! That would explain it as it did seem to take as long as some of the huge American freight trains.

Thanks, didn't notice that, but does goods mode take even longer to release on UK stuff? This is where my knowledge breaks down. I think I remember reading that most 66 freight work uses pax mode, but the 70 is maybe different.
