This is more of a feature request than a route/loco. As the Title implies. I believe editing tools should at least have a suitable map overlay and DEM data integration added within the route editing tools to make it more welcoming for those wishing to take on route building, having an easier time creating/extending prototypical routes. As for those who have issues with acquiring map API keys and height data from online sources. Perhaps this could come as an update of sorts.
