Just a question: Do you guys think the BR 204 will ever be improved? It's almost impossible to brake with this thing, and a few sounds are unfortunately missing, which is a shame, as it could have been a beautiful locomotive.

Considering it's a Rivet product, don't expect it anytime. Only chance for a proper variant is if someone else makes it again for some reason.

    Yeah, probably not.
While the 3D model is quite good, everything else about it is not.
I would use it more, but it's just so weak for what it's supposed to be.
They reused their TSC model, which was OK in TSC, you could even switch PZB modes there, in TSW we don't even get that. It's underpowered in both sims though and from the TSW2 era.

If anyone (prob TSG) makes another German heavy shunter/local freight diesel, it will almost certainly be the 294

It's very old so think it pretty much has to be taken as is. Plus Rivet have a rep for not going back and fixing very much at all of their stuff.

I wish I would have checked this forum before I bought the BR204 and the (only) route it can run on today. Fortunately both were on offer, but with the complete lack of braking power and the fact that the BR204 is limited to running on this route only I feel ripped off, to be honest.
