The Ingolstadt–Treuchtlingen railway is a railway route in Bavaria, southern Germany, connecting the city of Ingolstadt with the town of Treuchtlingen. It forms part of the important north–south railway corridor through Bavaria. **ROLLING STOCK** DB 111 (Reused) the DB 111 returns with this route doing the RB16 services DB 152 (NEW) This would be the new loco on the route, the DB 152, also known as the Baureihe 152, is a powerful German electric locomotive primarily used for freight services. Built by Siemens and Krauss-Maffei as part of the Eurosprinter family, it was introduced in the late 1990s to modernise Deutsche Bahn's freight operations and replace older electric locomotives. **STATIONS** Ingolstadt Hbf Ingolstadt Nord Gaimersheim Eitensheim Tauberfeid Adelschlag Elchstadt Dollnstein Solhofen Pappenheim And Treuchtlingen Hbf **WHY THIS ROUTE?** Unlike other german routes where its mainly passenger focused, this route is mainly focused on Freight operations, with the DB 182 doing a mix of RB16 services with the Dostos and Freight hauling services. The Ingolstadt–Treuchtlingen line would be a strong freight-focused German route for Train Sim World 7. The DB Class 152 and DB 111 would provide two distinctive electric locomotives, while the Altmühltal scenery, tunnels, curves and mixture of passenger and freight traffic would give players plenty of variety. Its biggest strength would be delivering a more relaxed, realistic freight-driving experience in Bavaria rather than another high-speed ICE route. The line would offer some distinctive scenery in a German TSW route. Between Eichstätt and Treuchtlingen, the railway follows the winding Altmühl Valley, passing limestone cliffs, wooded hills, tunnels and bridges.
About time we got a freight loco with a route that wasn't the Br185/2 being recycled more times than I care to remember. So it would be similar in concept to Ruhr Sieg Nord which is now really starting to show it's age, so either a remaster of that route or this route coming to the game would be nice. I hope you know that's very likely to be tt layer if this route comes to the game since locos that are their own add-on most likely aren't gonna be included with a route unless they recieve improvements or alterations to the model (CRE-PRE Class 20). This seems like a nice enough route but, politely, doesn't seem to offer much that's new to the game (besides the Br152), especially if the same 4th gen dostos are recycled AGAIN too, and the fact that Ingolstadt Hbf is now in game.
