As with the Class 33 manual, the person with the "publish manual" checklist was on holiday in Rio. And when he came back, he realised he'd left the checklist on the beach, but kept quiet about it.
They haven't done a sneaky V2 update to the Peninsula Corridor manual have they, to add the new train? I mean, that would be the logical thing to do, so it's unlikely, but worth a check!
Rather fittingly, given how well things have gone with the last updates, the tutorial for the Bi-level Cab Car ends with the line... "More details on the operation of this train can be found in the manual."
It's... Create DLC -> Test DLC -> Fix bugs -> Write manual -> Set release date -> Marketing -> Release DLC and manual vs... Set release date -> Marketing -> Mad panic trying to get DLC finished -> That'll have to do -> No time for testing -> Forget the manual -> Release DLC
Ooooh... spoooooky...! You went on holiday to the same Rio beach as DTG's Checklist Manager.... and found the checklist....!
Wow. Reminder: [emphasis added] In other words, the manual is an integral part of the product, not an afterthought to be released "later".
