You do realise £20 is different from $20 right?
My point had nothing do with any sales on routes or I would have being using over sharp as a example

 

The routes you sum up here are either old or offer less gameplay than Mildmay. And Glossop line is just as short. And these routes have the same price and weren't raised by inflation since they were released some years ago.

Price is determined by a lot of factors. Most important is personal taste, and if you are prepared to pay for what you get. You could just say 'I don't like what I get for that kind of money', that would be fair.

 

As ever many know the cost of everything and the value of nothing.

If it's worth the price to you sale or otherwise then it's obviously worth it, if not then it obviously isn't. For me I've been waiting to buy it, once the extension was released. I enjoy these types of routes and it looks to be well made and detailed.

I don't know why we have these truculent "well I'm not buying it" attention seeking posts. Fine, but do we all need to know

 

I really fail to see the logic of comparing the price of this with longer, generally more rural routes. No it’s not a long route, but it’s now a 20 station stopper service of detailed urban scenery that will take about an hour to complete end to end.

For me who loves the route anyway, I’m now getting a proper end to end run, hopefully some decent optimisation upgrades, authentic announcements, in cab CCTV etc for no extra cost. Bargain, can’t wait!

 

Don't forget the "I haven't bought anything TSW-related in three years but frequently visit these forums to whine about it" crowd

 

incrediblehannes Just wanted to thank you for extending this route out to Richmond, makes it more complete. Now, go take a break, or work on another route, then, hopefully, return to this route and add the Clapham Junction branch.

 

I’m looking forward to the extension. Which content is layering into the extended route? Is there a list available?

 

Not sure... but we know the 90 and 70 will be present in the new version.

Just did an end-to-end run on the Mildmay Line as I hadn't used it in a few months, forgot how immersive it was! Can't wait to get beyond Willesden Junction and discover what Johannes has been up to!

 

Any updates to the loco sounds?

 

Thursday will be a major improvement on a quality what is already stunning yeah...

 

When full richmond come out I hope or some other guy merge this route with suffragette line that way we can do some ecs and freight runs

 

Both routes have freight runs on them already.

 

I meant freight runs from London Gateway or Tilbury to Willesden that you can do with out hopping at Gospel Oak

 

Also do few ECS runs from or to Willesden Junction to Barking and there last train on a sunday where it dose Barking Riverside to Willesden Junction as passenger run

 

Yeah, they're a terrible bunch of people - and equally as bad as the "I'll buy everything regardless of quality....but in order to maintain my squeaky clean image will leave it up to others to do the 'fix your product' leg work" crowd

Tbh I think the increase in price is fair, especially since the region chosen is pretty dense. Anyways, there's still a chance for people to grab it at it's original price. I doubt many are going to be affected by the price increase at thus point.

 

The original release was a quality route, but the Richmond extension is the icing on the cake.

I really hope you're carrying on with TSW as well as your projects on other games incrediblehannes . I haven't checked my lottery numbers yet but if I've won the jackpot can I commission you to do C2C?

 

This is what I was wondering too, the sounds are what kept me from using this route very often.
